Vito's biker jacket is given a smiling heart patch that reads, "Handle with Care."
---
Game required: Mafia II - Definitive Edition with the Greaser Jacket DLC unlocked.
Author: Nicky Grimes
Clothing affected: Vito's greaser biker jacket

Read both the Install and the Uninstallation process in order to become fully familiar with uninstalling and reinstalling.
---
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Use Mafia Toolkit to open the Mafia 2: Definitive Edition's directory. Click "Start Toolkit" when you're ready to begin.

2. Use the yellow file path to locate the file vitbik.sds within the Tookit's directory.
Mafia II Definitive Edition > pc > dlcs > cnt_greaser > sds > player > extracted > vitbik.sds

3. Once you've found that file, right-click on it, and then click "Unpack."

The files will be extracted to a new folder called extracted. After going inside, you should see another file that says vitbik.sdswith a manila folder icon.

This is the folder you'll want to open by right-clicking on it, and then selecting, "Open in File Explorer."

Within computer's File Explorer, you'll find that all of the texture files
that makes up the greaser outfit and Vito's skin are contained in .DDS
files.

The two DDS files that you'll be replacing are named:
- MIP_VITBIKd.dds
- VITBIKd.dds

4. With the two .DDS files from the previous step, make backups of those files in case you want to uninstall them.
If you don't, deleting these files can cause the texture to show up as
completely black in-game, prompting the player to reverify your files
with Steam.
You can avoid all of this if you simply save the default textures somewhere so you can place them back in the original folder
once you're done.

5. Take the two DDS files within my mod folder named
- MIP_VITBIKd.dds
- VITBIKd.dds

With your computer's File Explorer, navigate to the same file path highlighted in Step 2.
Mafia II Definitive Edition > pc > dlcs > cnt_greaser > sds > player > extracted > vitbik.sds

6. Drag and drop the .DDS files located within my mod, and place them into
the game's original directory. You should see a change to the textures
when done properly.

7. Go back to Mafia Toolkit, and then go to the following file path that's been highlighted in yellow.
Mafia II Definitive Edition > pc > dlcs > cnt_greaser > sds > player > extracted

We're not going inside of the "extracted" folder this time for the packing process.
When you're outside of your extracted folder, you should see a file named vitbik.sds.

This is the file that will be edited.

8. Right-click on vitbik.sds
Then select "Pack."

Prior to doing this step, make sure that the modded files are inside of the extracted < vitbik.sds folder.

If you didn't do this right, you'll see the original textures or a black
texture show up instead of the files you wanted to mod.

Again, drag and drop my mod files into the folder "extracted."

9. When you're done, go back to Mafia Toolkit to pack the files.
Inside of Mafia Toolkit, go back to Mafia II Definitive Edition > pc > dlcs > cnt_greaser > sds > player.
Do not go inside the extracted folder as we'll be repacking the .SDS again.

10. We'll be reversing what we did in Step 3. With my modded textures
inside of your "extracted" folder, go back to Mafia Toolkit,
click on vitbik.sds and then click PACK.

This will repack your files so the modded textures can now take effect in-game.
