Car Paint-jobs are one of the best ways to personalize your cars in Mafia 2. Unfortunately, for me, one of my biggest reasons not to use them was the quality. In many cases the paint-jobs looked to blown up and pixelated on cars, and this is in part due to their resolution of a very tiny 512x256. This mod simply replaces those paint-jobs with HD versions of the vanilla paint schemes. Now, the paint-jobs are 2048x1024, and while in certain instances they can still look blown up, the quality is far more tolerable and the obvious pixels are nearly non-existent, resulting in better looking cars. One of the only issues I've noticed is that in certain cases, texture smudging can occur on cars where the paint-jobs have to be up-scaled a lot.
Installation is simple. Drag and drop 'pc' in to your Mafia 2 directory. Replace files.
