Description:

Mafia II Final Cut is a global mod for the game Mafia II Classic, designed to expand and change the game by adding different deleted scenes and fixing old bugs. Almost every aspect of the game has been touched up in the modification, from graphics and textures, to story and characters. Many different little things and features from the beta versions have been restored, many old bugs have been fixed, and new features have been added to help open up the world of the game even more. The project is still under development and will scale with updates in the future. 

The mod is at an early stage of development and may contain bugs.

Change List:

Plot and missions:

1. Added additional quests from story characters.
2. New "Wheels On Fire" mission from the 2009 presentations of the game.
3. The ability to make choices in missions.
4. Various small changes in missions, such as new dialog or new enemies.

Gameplay changes:

1. New additional activity "Fist Fights".
2. New game mode "Free Ride".
3. Lockpick breakage system.
4. New difficulty mode.
5. Ability to buy and read newspapers.
6. Added player reputation level.
7. Added melee weapons.
8. Added license to carry weapons.
9. A more vibrant city.
10. Removed GPS from radar.

Sounds, textures and graphics:

1. New shooting and wheel braking sounds from the beta version.
2. New filter and environment similar to the beta version of the game.
3. New season Fall.
4. Added cut soundtracks from missions and cut music on the radio.
5. Cut locations such as Culver's Dam, Maxwella Supermarket (as a set), Millville Garage, Parking Garage, Hunters Point Apartment, Hillwood Villa, Diamond Motors Car Dealership (as a set) and Brothel.
6. New interface, closer to the beta version of the game.
7. Updated map.

Installation:

The installation is quite easy. In the archive you will find two folders: 

1st - "FINAL CUT MAIN FILES" (contains the main files of the mod), installation: after opening the folder you will find two more folders "pc" and "edit" which must be moved to the root folder of the game and agree to replace the files (MUST!!!). 
2nd - (Required ONLY if you have DLC) "FINAL CUT DLC" installation is the same: open the folder, in it you will find another folder "pc", which must be moved to the root folder of the game and agree to replace the files.

Put the mod is recommended on a clean version of Mafia 2, and also MUST delete the save.

Now we will tell you how to fix some problems when playing our modification.

1. Installing other modifications is strictly not recommended! Other modifications conflict with our modification.

2. Before installing our modification, make sure that the game does not have any modifications installed.

3. Many people had frequent crashes when playing the game, to fix this problem you need to: first disable physx in the game settings. Then go to the Nvidia control panel, open the line "surround, physx" and in the opened window in the settings "physx" select "CPU". This should fix the crashing issue.

4. If you have a problem with prolonged screen slowdown, you need to : first, enable "vertical synchronization" in the game settings. Then,

For owners of Nvidia graphics cards : Go to the Nvidia control panel, go to the "change resolution" tab, set the refresh rate to 60 hz .  Usually this problem occurs with monitors with a refresh rate of 120-144.

5. Be sure to install additional software (Software) necessary for the game (Nvidia physx, DirectX, etc.). If you do not start the game or have other problems with launching the game, then most likely there is a problem with the lack of necessary software.

6. Before you start playing our modification, you MUST delete your saves.
