Note: This is a Lua script. You must have the Lua Injector installed to use it.
Description:
Happy Hour has arrived and it looks like Vito (or Joe) had too much to drink! This fun silly mod makes you drunk!
Features include drinking, dancing, vomiting, and peeing! Think of this as a "drinking simulator".
Walk the streets of Empire Bay as a tipsy, buzzed, and flushed Vito Scaletta or Joe Barbaro!
This mod is easy to turn OFF and return the game back to normal.
Note: Mod works in story mode, Joe's Adventures, and Friends for Life

Note: I do not recommend using this mod with the Mafia2ext trainer since I purposely created it for Lua injector.
The trainer ruins the immersion and flow of the mod.
Note: As with any Lua mod, spamming the activation keys (F1-F12) will cause the game to crash.
Features:

- F8: Drink Alcohol Bottle
- F9: Dance
- F10: Vomit
- F11: Pee
- F12: Return to normal Vito/Joe (press AFTER alcohol affects wear out)

Roam the streets of Empire Bay as a hammered Vito Scaletta or a tipsy Joe Barbaro.
- Drink Alcohol Bottle (F8) -
Here at Empire Bay we only drink the finest alcoholic beverages. Press F8 to drink Humphrey Brandy.
This brandy bottle costs $0.75 in 1950, so according to modern inflation that's a whopping $13.78 per bottle! Bottoms up!
- Dance (F9) -
Press F9 to dance like it's the last night of your life.
- Vomit (F10) -
Want to vomit, puke, or hurl? Press F10 to regurgitate on the spot. What comes in, must come out!
- Peeing Script (F11) -
Need to take a leak but can't find a bathroom? Look no further! Press F11 to relieve your loins.
Piss on the spot with zero fucks given! Alcohol is a diuretic so if you gotta go, you gotta go.
- Return to normal Vito/Joe (F12) -
Press F12 ONLY AFTER the drunk mod (F7) effects wears out (2 minutes and 40 seconds). After 2:40 press F12 to revert your game back to normal. Deciding on which character you picked (Vito or Joe), they will have different hangovers from one another.
- Bonus: Boys Night Out (rename key to F1-F6) -
Saturday is for the boys. Hang out with Joe, Henry, Eddie.
Your three friends will provide company, making sure you don't drink alone! They'll also act as bodyguards.
Rename this Lua key to anything from F1-F6.
Installation:
1. Download Mafia II Lua Injector
2. Copy this mod's "pc" folder and paste to your Mafia II game directory.
Replace the files when asked.
3. Once ingame, back out to desktop and run the mafiainjector.exe. Then ingame press the F7 function key to activate the mod.
-This is the path to the "userscript" folder: "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II/pc/userscript".
Using the script:
- Launch Mafia II and get in-game.
- Press "Alt+Tab" to minimize the game.
- Navigate to your "pc" folder.
- Run "mafiainjector.exe".
- Return to the Mafia II window.
- Resume the game.
- Press the function key after which the downloaded Lua script is named. For example, if the script's name is "F7", press the "F7" key to run the script.
FAQ
---> I want to be drunk even longer!
If you want to be intoxicated longer, simply activate the 'Drunk key' (F7) again for an additional 2 minutes and 40 seconds.
---> How do I deactivate the mod? I don't want to be drunk anymore.
Just like in real life, actions have consequences. You must wait 2 minutes and 40 seconds for all alcohol effects to wear out.
Press F12 after 2 minutes and 40 seconds to turn the game back to normal and revert to your default walking style.
Or you can just restart the mission since this mod does not save the game at any point.
---> Does this mod save the game at any point?
No it does not. I deliberately chose not to make any save points for this mod because what happens in Empire Bay (when you're drunk),
stays in Empire Bay. I don't want to overwrite people's saved progress. This is supposed to be a fun mod to wreck havoc when you're bored.
