Mafia 2 Uncut Radio (Beta Radio mod) restores cut beta songs and removed songs back into your game. These songs were cut before Mafia II's final release and removed post release due to music licences problems. This mod also changes the radio station names to match the 2009 Mafia II Beta.

Compatible with both Mafia II Classic (2010) and Mafia II: Definitive Edition (2020) 

Mafia 2 Definitive Edition (2020) Feature:
- This mod fixes the issue of the "new" Bob Berriman appearing. This "new" version of Bob Berriman is actually not new but is beta or possibly older. His "new" lines are not supposed to be in the game since Bob Berriman is supposed to appear in the 1940s on Empire Classic not 1950s Empire Classic. This beta version of Bob Berriman also repeats stuff that Rockin Ricky Fox says. Everyone by default has the lore breaking radio in Mafia 2 Definitive Edition. However this mod restores the M2 DE radio with newsbreaks from the original game. It looks like d3t limited, the team responsible for the remaster didn't bother to check the radio when they were given old repository files. Description
Mafia 2 Uncut Radio (Beta Radio mod) restores cut beta songs and removed songs back into your game. These songs were cut before Mafia II's final release and removed post release due to music licences problems. If more songs in the future get removed due to license problems, this future proof mod will restore them. This mod also changes the radio station names to match the 2009 Mafia II Beta. 

Beta Content Music 
  • This mod restores all cut songs from the Summer & Winter back into the game (without replacing the standard songs). These new songs appear on Empire Classic, Empire Central, and Delta Radio.

Removed Content Music 
  • This mod restores all post release removed songs from the Summer & Winter back into the game (without replacing the standard songs). These songs appear on Empire Classic, Empire Central, and Delta Radio.

Note: It doesn't matter if more songs in the future get removed due to licences expiring because I have included a future proof folder with ALL songs from Mafia II (8/24/10 version). 

Installation:
  • Open the "(Step 1) - Original Mafia 2 Radio (2010)" folder and copy the "pc" folder. Then paste to your Mafia II directory (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II) Replace if asked.
  • Open the "(Step 2) - Copy to Mafia II" folder and copy the "pc" folder. Then paste to your Mafia II directory (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II) Replace if asked.
  • If you have Friends for Life DLC installed, open the "Friends for Life patch" folder and copy the "pc" folder. Then paste to your Mafia II directory (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II) Replace if asked.

5/26/20 Update
  • Mafia II Definitive Edition version has been uploaded! This version fixes the "new" Bob Berriman issue by restoring the original Mafia 2 (2010) radio newsbreaks.

  • COMPLETE REWORK FROM SCRATCH. My previous Uncut Radio mod was inaccurate with lots of unconfirmed songs.
  • This complete mod rework is based on verified sources only, hence the reason why the song list has been dramatically decreased (authentic cut songs only).
