Happy news for both PC players and Playstation 3 players!
PC: You will be exploring Solstheim on February 5th!
Playstation: Sometime in February, you will get to explore Solstheim, followed by building yourself a home, and after that you will get to either kill or team up with some vampires! All this in February! And that is not all; update 1.8 will arrive just before Dragonborn. You think Bethesda is ending it with just giving you (in order of release) update 1.8, Dragonborn, Hearthfire and Dawnguard? Nope. During the launch week, all DLCs are 50% off on PSN!
Well it's 9.33pm in the UK, and Dragonborn started downloading just before nine, and should take a little over 40 minutes to install.. you heard it here first... ">
Its 5.43 pm now in uk and still no dragonborn, i preordered on day 1, to day is the 5th.............................................................................................
@hlvrn........it isn't jsut a case of Bethesda needing to learn a lesson and finally getting rid of Gambryo no matter what they might call it but it is also a lesson for Sony and console makers in general with the pathetic memory that they give them. The PS3 architecture is far more difficult to progam for. Both the 360 and the PS3 have 512 of memory but the 360 memory can be allocated for anything while the PS3 memory is split in half and you can only use 256mb max for particular tasks like graphics or CPU. This was pointed out as a flaw when it was released as something that would bite them down the road and the last few years have shown that to be the case. Bethesda games aren't the only games the run worse PS3, most multiplatform games run worse on the PS3. Any piece of electronics is only as good as it's weakest link and PS3 has a very weak link in their memory architecture.
I remember when the consoles were released that the recommended minimum for PC games was 512 of RAM. Consoles could get away with it because their OS has a smaller footprint but it only took a a few years before they reached their Zenith.
If the next gen of consoles don't have at least 4GB of RAM at a minimum I am going to scream like a little girl. :/ That and they better be making Fallout 4 for the next gen of consoles.........I can wait a few extra months if thats what it takes. I like TES but I love Fallout.
They don't have much of a reputation to worry about amonst PS3 players....we've been screwed in Oblivion, Fallout, and New Vegas. We know they hate us.
