"EVERY BLADE OF GRASS" The CPU vs CPU 20th Century Resurrection Mod for Madden 22

Why every blade of grass?

Because every single blade of grass is fought over with no quarter given by anyone. DEFENSE is the name of the game, but there are some teams in this league that challenge that notion...

Since last November, I've been working on a semi-fictional mod+roster to resurrect the old 1970s/1980s SMASHMOUTH days.

The gameplay is accurate to the era, sim stats are tuned to 1980 actual NFL stats, and you will find smash mouth, in-your-face football full of massive hits ( without the WWE animations) worthy of the "every blade of grass" moniker. But every team in the league has talent on both sides of the ball, and anyone can win this...

Most of the players are fictional but some are actual USFL and NFL players from the 1970s and 1980s.

Special teams also count, as each team has either one or two dangerous return specialists that don't do much of anything else but return kicks. They are rated 99 in elusiveness and will routinely fake you out of your shoes. kickers will also miss easy kicks, as it was in those days.

Throwback action portraits are set for abut 3-6 players per team because that is all I could find. All others are head and shoulders from current Madden but they fit the player appropriately and realistically.

* Era specific playbooks include fullback runs where most of the teams are run first and throw the bomb second. 

* fixed the audio for 99% of the players so the announcers will either say their first or last name ...this was the hardest mission I had to complete!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Make sure that the CPU vs CPU 20th Century Resurrection Mod for Madden 22 is set in the number one position on the bottom of your mods in FIFA Mod Manager and optionally, Sabo's Mod on top of it in the number two position. I never tried playing without his motto on top of mine so I can't vouch for the results without it. it's possible that it might be fine without it.

In the number three position above Sabo, is "Prime's custom portrait mod" here: Prime's Custom Portrait Mod 1.3.zip - Google Drive. Then just launch from Fifa mod manager.
