Hello, i'm back to modding! Gaiden got released and i decided to play it and noticed most of the moves that styles have are real sloppy. I decided to install some mods that people created here and here's the one that i liked: Dragon's Resolve. But it also lacked some of the proper combo flow along with missing out on changing other things. 
Edit: i've now renamed this mod to my own liking, but main credit still goes to KirbyKrew661 for his first creation and inspiration of this idea




The changes that this mod includes:
- Readjustment of properties for Yakuza and Agent style, including reduced time control on finishers. Juggling enemies has gotten easier now
- Removed restriction to EX Heat only the finishing hold, as well as unlocked triple finisher from the start
- No Bounce Hit from MerkusBerkus has been merged into this mod


Optional files include:
battle_bomb_info.bin - changes firefly's explosion radius

battle_ctrltype.bin - makes bosses be able to controlled with wire (works but with intermittency, breaks bosses's healthbar)

battle_gadget_drone_setting.bin - changes hornet's summoning time

battle_tougijyo_select_match.bin - changes time condition for Coliseum, works well with character_npc_soldier_personal_data.bin (has issues such as removing heaven coliseum in hell rumble special matches)

character_npc_soldier_personal_data.bin - increases goons, bosses's healthbars



(the rest make no changes to the gameplay)

UPDATE 1.0:
- Huge tweaks with 2 styles, including better window control, cancel frames, different battle effects and so on
- Added new double following up finisher for the first finisher
- Added in new patch from KirbyKrew661
- New name for the mod (yes very very important update xd)



UPDATE 1.0.1:
- Fixed triple finisher and finishing hold being restricted without upgrades in Yakuza style, as well as adjusted follow up time window (sped up) for Flurry Punches.
- Fixed VFX and SFX for super triangle combo for Agent and normal square combo for Yakuza.
- Fixed new move not existing in EX Heat mode in Agent.

- Fixed the last buggy visuals as well as removed bugs carried from Dragon's Resolve, including:
Agent
  • 4x square combo triple finisher

Dragon
  • all 3 charged square attacks

Dragon Resolve's bugs for Agent style:

  • quickstep square

- Significantly improved speed for charged attacks as well as improved charged light attacks

- Added charged attacks to sway attack in Dragon style (WARNING: forward sway attack charge automatically follows up to heavy charged attack)

- Fixed Firefly not working in Ex Heat mode

- Slightly debuffed speed for Agent style

- Made HP changes as an optional file so you can possibly enjoy this mod in story mode as well (enemies might die fast tho xd)

- Added Quadra Finisher for 4th Attack Finisher in Yakuza Style


UPDATE 1.2:
- Added more fluidity to Yakuza Style's finishers (You can do finishing hold in reverse finishers, do a double reverse finisher after first normal finisher and all reverse finishers have a follow up to triple finisher as well)

- Restored Parry to Yakuza Style

- All Charged Light Attacks have a chance to stun in Yakuza Style

- Added Triangle Counter to Agent Style as well as double and triple follow up to it (press Y 1 or 2 more times after counter), also very lenient to perform

- Removed Full Health requirement for Essence of Savage Torque (multiple enemy attack after grabbing one hact) and Low Health requirement for Essence of Ensnarement (startup run to full run to multiple enemies hact) in Agent Style 

- Tiger Drop became more lenient to perform (less lenient in EX Heat mode because no point trying to fish on it when Yakuza Style is all about aggression and doing combo strings)


OPTIONAL FILES:

- Summoning Drones now became instant in normal mode

- Firefly Explosion Radius is drastically increased





UPDATE 1.3 (possibly final update):
- Changed HAct conditions for Essence of Might (choke slam to the ground, now usable at any time), Demonic Spiral (hact after grab nearby 3+ enemies, also usable at any time), Essence of Fast Footwork (now works against bosses, but not in coliseum for some reason)

- Added Restrayned's parry for Agent style, along with adding full-body glows while parry is active matching with style's color

- Drastically edited movesets for many coliseum characters such as Masochist, Higashi, the small buff dude that also heals and more (added Daigo, Saejima and Majima movesets, but not entirely replaced)

- Slightly modified mortal attack reversal follow up throw for Yakuza style (the damage is timed correctly as well as can damage surrounding enemies)

- Small changes to Yakuza style's finishers frame cancel

- Added Komaki's Parry (RB+Circle) to Yakuza style

- Replaced heavy charged attack with thunder dropkick

OPTIONAL FILES:
- Fixed battle_tougijyo_select_match.bin removing Heaven match
