OVERVIEW
You feel lighter. This mod decreases all weight tiers by one (1) level, similar to the NG+2 Phase 7 "Light Weight" ability.

  • Light: 0% - 29%  →  0% - 59%
  • Normal: 30% - 59%  →  60% - 79% 
  • Slightly Heavy: 60% - 79%  →  80% - 99% 
  • Heavy: 80% - 99%  →  100% - 119% 
  • Very Heavy: >= 100%  →  >= 120%
The weight tier penalties in this game are relatively heavy, and the NG+2 ability that realigns them is a great quality-of-life boost. This mod allows that same tier definition by default, making regular NG cycles less restrictive and reducing the need to rely on the Carrier's Amulet(s) - improving build options without trivializing the weight system entirely. You will still need to invest in Capacity, just to a lesser degree.

By default, these adjustments will not stack with the actual NG+2 Phase 7 "Light Weight" ability, should you unlock it. However, an optional Extended version of the mod is also available which will stack these (i.e., the "Light Weight" ability will reduce weight tiers by an additional level).

Compatible with the new DLC expansion, Overture / v1.10.0.0.
Fully compatible with my other Lies of P mods, Improved Perfect Guard and Hardcore Mode.

INSTALLATION
  • download the mod from the files tab 
  • create a ~mods folder in your local game directory's Paks folder
    - if using Steam, this path can be found by right-clicking the game and selecting "Manage" → "Browse local files"
    - i.e., ".../steamapps/common/Lies of P/LiesofP/Content/Paks/~mods"
  • extract the .pak file to the ~mods folder
To uninstall, simply delete the .pak file from the ~mods folder.
