Rock Raiders scores the player based on point values assigned to quotas (e.g. collected 30 energy crystals) and other criteria (e.g. constructed 5 buildings, finished with 100 oxygen supply) that all add up to 100. The amount of points assigned is based on importance as in the example below:
Collecting 30 crystals = 45 points
Constructing 5 buildings = 30 points
Finishing with 100 oxygen supply = 15 points
Discovering all caverns = 10 points
What I did was remove certain criteria and added the leftover points into other criteria that I felt was more relevant to the mission objectives. These changes are as follows:
Don't Panic
-Removed 100 oxygen supply criterion as it's not possible to end the level with such since there is no ending teleportation sequence. Leftover 10 points were added to energy crystal criterion (was 75 points, now 85).
Oresome
-Removed cavern criterion due to being buggy as mentioned earlier. Leftover 10 points were added into energy crystal (was 70 points, now 75) and building construction criteria (was 5 points, now 10).
Run The Gauntlet
-Removed cavern criterion due to same reason as Oresome. Leftover 10 points were added to energy crystal (was 40 points, now 45) and building construction criteria (was 10 points, now 15).
Air Raiders
-Removed cavern criterion due to same reason as Oresome. Leftover 25 points were added to oxygen supply (was 15 points, now 30) and building construction criteria (was 10 points, now 20).
Rocky Horror
-Removed cavern criterion due to same reason as Oresome. Leftover 10 points were added to energy crystal criterion (was 50 points, now 60).
Doing this made 100% completion achievable and fair without it being ruined by the buggy scoring system and should do the same for anyone who wishes to download and install my edits.
