What this mod changes
I felt like the Hylian and Daybreaker shield as they were in Vanilla were just average. Yeah the Hylian shield lasted pretty long, but that was the only thing unique about it. And the Daybreaker, pfft, who cared. Now both of these shields offer the best parry range and shield surfing so they have more feeling of usefulness. Not to mention they're now infinite durability.
Hylian Shield:
-Infinite Durability
-0 Friction while shield surfing
-Doubled Parry Range
Daybreaker Shield:
-Infinite Durability
-0 Friction while shield surfing
-Doubled Parry Range
-Increased Guard Power to 75
Compatibility
Tested and working on version 1.1.2 on both Yuzu and Switch with Atmosphere 1.5.4
Not compatible with any mods that make changes to 'romfs/Pack/Actor/Weapon_Shield_030.pack.zs' or 'romfs/Pack/Actor/Weapon_Shield_037.pack.zs'.
Can be compatible with mods that make changes to 'romfs/RSDB/PouchActorInfo.Product.112.rstbl.byml.zs'. You must either opt to remove the RSDB file and then the Daybreaker will not show it's 75 Guard Power in your bags or open your existing modded 'romfs/RSDB/PouchActorInfo.Product.112.rstbl.byml.zs' with NX-Editor or any editor that can and change the 'Equipment Performance: 48' to 'EquipmentPerformance: 75'.
Installation
Yuzu:
Drag ONLY ONE mod folder from the zip file into yuzu\load\0100F2C0115B6000.
A quick way to find your Yuzu mod folder is to right click your game and select, "Open Mod Data Location".

Ryujinx:

Switch:
Drag the mod's romfs folder in atmosphere\contents\0100F2C0115B6000\. If the folder doesn't exist, create it.
