  • DUMB WAITERS GUIDE, 4 gear keys and 2 Iron Keys

    You need 4 Gear Keys and 2 Iron Keys to attempt this zone. It is called the “Dumb Waiters Zone” due to the 2 Skeleton Warriors who stand sedately and refuse to fight! 
     
    Beyond them are 4 forcefields 1 level up, holding 1 enemy each: an Evil Wizard, a Skeleton Commander, an undead and an Xylophone 
     
    On putting in the Iron Keys, the Skeleton Commander, and an undead are released. On inserting 2 Gear Keys, the Xylophone is released but you then have access to further passages leading to the 3 level battle arena which contains a ground level, a level down which includes an exit down to “Basic Dungeon” and a further level down to “3 brass ...

    Since this Custom Dungeon (LOGII)  first appeared at Version M, it has now gone through every version letter from M – Z (previous versions to that were unreleased) and then 0 and is now at version “1”

    What has emerged with this Custom Dungeon, is that 2 distinct missions are now possible, the advanced “gung ho” all guns blazing mission “to get the Master Key” or the standard mission using all the keys that appear in the game day by day.
     

    Getting the Master Key shortens the game considerably, but is pretty hectic and some may say not actually possible!  But it is possible and there is a video to prove it! J

  • GETTING THE MASTER KEY - overall objective U

    MASTER KEY   see YouTube    our video is  at: http://youtu.be/fbTCh7-hnLU    The mission to obtain the blessed Master Key is simple, but fraught!  It is best ignored because of the heavy and massive danger presented once this undertaking begins!   STAGE 1, once you have obtained the 3 round keys you enter a Medusa Arena. You see the Medusa in her forcefield upon entering the Arena at start of mission. Release her by pulling the lever at the base of the Forcefield. Kill the Medusa and see her immediately REPLACED by her sister!  STAGE 2, Kill the sister Medusa, she actually carries the Master Key herself – so keep an eye on where she is.  If hovering several levels up in the air, the Master Key will drop immediately below when she dies.   • Planet Level

    Planet level is a junior level in the game and is entirely optional, if you don’t get there, it won’t stop you reaching the end of the game. Enemies are easy to combat – the biggest threat is from drowning, so save the game as soon as you reach a dry area. 
     
    So what’s the point of going there? You can gain a “Battleaxe”  a couple of other weapons and a nice set of light armour!  Three crystal shards are highly visible past the 4th bridge but this is difficult to negotiate. 
     
    To get to Planet Level explore the “ Catacombs”   level (best accessed from Beach) where you find a trapdoor down to “Beleagured Passages” in here you discover a locked Portcullis but …. You need an Iron Key to unlock!

    SPECIFIC GUIDE TO  5 CUBE KEYS ARENA This is a challenging section of the game. First a list of the arena components. A The Perimeter wall, if you look along this wall, there are 2 secret buttons, opening stash rooms for you! B  The ditch. This goes around the arena and is best crossed using a magic bridge. If you see none, it’s a long way down. C  Teleporters. There are 4.  One teleporter on each side of the arena ditch wall. If you see none they are yet to be activated by the 4 levers in the centre of the Arena. D  Extra Exit gate. On one side of the perimeter wall there is a portcullis gate.
