Legend of Grimrock II, 2018 Custom Dungeon "VAST" your crew blunder into a Vast dungeon complex, one layer of passages built on top of another.as they use the various trapdoors to drop down to each successive level, they wonder where it will all end.Spot the clues, check the dead ends, work out the complex hive of passages which lead to the first four holy missions, ** ARCADIUS **, ** RUDGE **,  ** CREST ** and ** Llewell **Suggested order of Gizzard stairs: South, East, North, WestVAST GUIDEA  Your crew have blundered into a vast dungeon complex, with no food and no medical supplies!  CAUTION:  slow, measured exploration is what is needed here, Phase 1 begins.B  The first thing your crew should do is Slowly slowly examine the passages they encounterC  The crew descend one trap door after another and sustain injuries, keep a check on Health levels, before descending, SLEEP to ensure high health, you don't want to lose anyone yet!D  Ensure that all dead ends are checked, look for clues, e.g. Secret Buttons, secret doors.E  after about 2 or 3 minutes of checking/ descending, the crew finally discover an unusal passageway, viz a LIGHT can be seen at the end of the new passageway, this is Phase 2 of the game.F  collect the first of FOUR wall torches on this level. It is suggested that the crew do not pull levers before collecting all four torches but just a suggestion.G  after each wall torch is collected, the crew see a CRITICAL red ironed locked gate. the crew then come to a T junction and could see a SECRET BUTTON. this button expedites progress at the cost of a nearby SECRET CACHE a little further back. although the button unlocks a junction it also closes a secret cache about 100' back along the passageway, your choice!H  sooner or later the crew come up 1 of 2 levers. each lever does the same thing, it brings the game to Phase 3, which is that the central crossroads "unlocks".I  once one of the levers is pulled, proceed to the crossroads where you will encounter Central Centurions defending the alcoves. IF your crew can destroy them all then do it, however at this stage the reverse is probably true, they will take out the crew, so a more subtle approach is possibly neededJ  at this point the crew need to clear as many of the shelves in the crossroads as possible. FOUR iron keys are on offer, 3 would be good but 4 would be excellent! once your crew have them, destroy the Centurions for good.K as soon as even 1 Centurion is taken out all the trapdoors unlock, descend any of them , you are now at Phase 4 of the game : GIZZARD. L  In Gizzard your choice of direction actually selects which of the first basic missions you go on  (see GIZZARD STAIRS GEOGRAPHY above) and it is suggested that the first mission should be ARCADIUS  (so move SOUTH).M  on any direction the system is the same, ascend stairs to Mission Start, Phase 5, insert key.N  after the key is inserted , that has unlocked the critical gate mentioned at G , go there now (always head to outer perimeter when descending to RIFT).O  your crew find the critical gate mentioned at G is unlocked, pass through with your second Iron Key ready, insert it, the adjacent trapdoor unlocks, if you can, do not descend it yet, instead return to the critical gate you just unlocked and check for Secrets!P  after checking for Secrets return to the Trapdoor, descend , CAUTION a small battle/ fight will now occur , BE READY.Q  after winning the encounter move straight across at the crossroads and follow the passage to "BLUE STONES"R   restore your crew but look out for a mangy gang of ruffian monsters, your crew can handle them but if feeling the weight of numbers, insert an Iron Key into the far wall LOCK, this initiates "Ancient Defences" to cut the villains down to sizeS   USE THE MAP as you move around the outer wall of the hall, you are looking for a passageway that your crew has not ventured into before, this will be MISSION 1,T   proceed along the MISSION 1 passageway , your crew find a closed trapdoor, this is unlocked by defeating the Trapdoor owner, e.g. a nearby coyote, a crowern etc will once defeated see the trapdoor unlock! U   descend the trapdoor to the Mission start zone.V   once the mission is completed return to Gizzard to once more choose a direction as in L.  To get to Gizzard simply move around the "BLUE STONES" hall and ascend any stairs, these take you to GizzardW    As your crew move around the four basic missions they will see various CLUES, e.g. small fish, damaged walling, mess on floor , spider , anything like that, look carefully at nearby walls , use MAP to check for secret rooms adjacentX   Shock bombs work on underwater enemies, remember to keep shock bombs for underwater missionsY   after four missions have been completed, what then?  Return to "Blue Stones" in the usual way , as S ,  USE THE MAP as you move around the outer wall of the hall, you are looking for a passageway that your crew has not ventured into before, this will be MISSION 5Z  after Mission 5, again  Return to "Blue Stones" and find the same passageway as at Y to complete Missions 6, 7 and 8
