Your crew's frigate smashed up against a few medium sized rocks during the night storm, breaking the frigate in half. Before he died your skipper , in hushed tones, warned survivors, "I believe we have by chance been flung onto the shore of the Cursed Isle of Trees. This place is legend amongst blessed scholars as the last known location of the Fiendish Wizard Bloise, who's Virge was afeared most savagely. There will be evil forces here to guard against the Virge being recovered, there it is" gestured the skipper, at the Temple in the distance, "In there, so be warned, it's powers are massively ghastly." He then collapsed and died.The skipper seemed so certain of this shocking information and all around are gates of one sort of another, so as your crew look at the Temple in the distance, it's difficult to know what course of action to take. Explore the temple? Survive in the cove? Repair the frigate? Each option is going to be highly unlikely but time is ticking on. * Preliminary Mission: Find the Stinking Dungeons STEP 1 your party begin on the gorgeous and blessed South East Beach (the Launch Beach) .STEP 2 Ascend the METAL Ladder but stay close to the ladder end, do not go far.STEP 3 see if you can spot large jars of potion on the platform.STEP 4 whether you can retrieve the jars or not, now return to where you started.STEP 5 Ascend the wooden ladder, just where the ladder allows your party to climb the rock wall, look to your left, try and pick up 4 rocks.STEP 6 move ahead to the shipwreck beach, this is where your old frigate crashed up the rocks, explore it now to see if any fragments remain.STEP 7 locate sprigs of seaweed next to the shipwreck, follow the seaweed through a fake wall to a cache altar.STEP 8 spot the grating next to an old Oak Tree.STEP 9 navigate your party to the other side of the grating. ** Beginner Mission : Survive the Stinking Dungeons during Day 1 of ExplorationSTEP A descend to the Stinking Dungeons Below.STEP B pull the chain to open the wooden Guard Room entrance, fight the guards, take them all down.STEP C STEP B should be possible, if your party find this too hard then ignore STEP B and move to the next step, which is to go through the metal door to the junior ARENA.STEP D In Junior ARENA there are 2 bonus possibilities .STEP E To skip the bonus possibilities then weave through the opposition in the Junior Arena and find the Crowern Guide, weave around the Crowern and out to the SW section of the Dungeons.STEP F Taking either of the Wall Torches inside the Junior ARENA will commence Bonus elements. You can still take the wall torches and ignore the Bonus parts.STEP G To take advantage of the bonus elements, take a wall torch and observe where the "Super Enemy" emerges from (it will be easy to see from the Junior Arena). Once you have seen where the "Super Enemy" emerges from, weave around them INTO their hideout and press the wall button (inside the hideout) that starts "Ancient Defences" in the Junior Arena, use these to take down the "Super Enemy" STEP H To gain maximum loot, try completing both bonus elements but these are not essential.STEP I locate the South stairs back up to the beach that you started at in Step A. Back on the sandy cove, if you forgot to get the rocks in Step 5 the do it now, but immediately return to the Launch Beach.STEP J NOW your party can ascend the metal ladder and explore fully the Western Beach, look out for Seaweed pillars, these indicate a hidden cache but disregard the old Treasure chest at this stage.STEP K descend the Chasm by the old Treasure Chest (it won't open yet) down to the Scary Tomb level. The alcoves here are a booby trap, don't grab any items.STEP L Look up at the platform above you, you see a Medusa guard. once your party are up there, they can then jump down to these alcoves and THEN take the items (The booby trap is cancelled from the platform above).STEP M So ignore the alcoves for now (you can't take any items here at the moment) . Enter the gorgeous adjacent hall with central trapdoor. Look high near the ceiling. One of the upper walls is marked with a broad STRIPE. The walls there are fake, move through them to find a cacheSTEP N the trapdoor will take you to a Night Forest (foraging expedition) but this can wait until your team have cracked the Barracks.STEP O find the Southern stairs down to The Barracks where 6 sentries are having a tea break, so they will be surprised by your party. Kill one of them and a special room then opens on the far side containing a wall button similar to those in the bonus possibilities at Step G. STEP P Slay the Barracks Guards and then return to the Trapdoor and do the foraging mission. STEP Q You descend the to the Night Forest which at first seems peaceful and tranquil. So, in the Night Forest you straight away see a massive boulder, this first is a red herring, you then soon come to a second massive boulder, this is also a red herring. Finally at the third massive boulder THIS is where the real foraging begins, enter the third boulder, (find the 2 sacks right there) you can move straight through it into an abundant area of herbs and weapons.STEP R In the abundant area NOTE the trapdoor, this is currently closed but opens later in the game (To Catacombs) . Just past the trapdoor are some strange rock bed formations, find the fist dagger there , proceed as far as the path goes and you will find a rope down a trenchSTEP S the foraging forest finishes with a set of stairs going down to a Medium Arena. Take your party into the Arena Hall or stay outside (you could let the opposition come to you outside the hall).STEP T Better to enter the Arena Hall, automatic ancient defences start for you and paintings on the walls indicate where your party are safe to stand while the defences play out (1 minute) .STEP U After the defences finish you can mop up the remaining opposition but then starts are highly dangerous phase depending on what you do next.STEP V EASY OPTION : move to the double headed exit, this marks the end of the Medium Arena. Keep moving and use the Stairs to again enter the Barracks are per Step O, the Barracks are empty now so proceed straight through. Find the South East down to THE CASTLE and begin a new mission there.STEP W MEDIUM OPTION : move to the double headed exit, this marks the end of the Medium Arena. Move out as if to leave but then change your mind and go back but GET PREPARED, make sure your party are fed, watered and have copious potions / weapons ready to go, MAKE PREPARATIONS, your crew must have everything to hand, be familiar with where the 3 wall locks are, if you have keys, know which crew member has them, FIGHT the horde which emerges after a couple of minutesSTEP X HARD OPTION : as Step W but in addition , after about 1 minute of fighting the horde , proceed to their hideout and enter it, even if you just stand in their doorway because soon the hideout CLOSES, get in there before thatSTEP Y VERY HARD OPTION: as STEP X but in addition fully explore the Horde Base. DANGER: fully exploring the Horde Base necessitates wiping them out in reality and their neighbouring clan will seek vengeance for that AND SOON! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE! Note, if you do this step, Barracks may be swelled with vicious reinforcements from the Neighbouring ClanSTEP Z if you decided not to do the Castle as step V then move your party back to the Launch Beach via the Stairs mentioned at Step I. Now ascend the metal ladder AGAIN and AGAIN descend the trapdoor by the Treasure Chest, it will take you to a different place now! *** Standard Mission: Fully explore the Stinking Dungeons, Castle and Tomb levels, then get your crew to the holier Plenitude Level, ultimately "The blue stones""The blue stones" are not only the life giving crystal bouys of the Dungeon World, but also a crew's base from which many routes begin . In Tomb Level see if the trapdoor down from the hall next to the Restricted Alcoves is open. Also in Stinking Dungeons enter the big hall, if unlocked, from Guard Room and use the trapdoor down Stinking Dungeons to Blue Stones : see if you can get into the vast hall in the middle, it has a stone door by the Guard Room, if the Stone Door is locked this is not always bad news, scout around to the South end of the level , a passageway that is normally a dead end, may have now opened to give you access!Teleporter Room from Stinking Dungeons : Initially you grab the Gold key from THE CASTLE and then use the 2nd Gear key to descend from the Castle to the Beach pond, this leads to a big stinking battle in the Dungeons below, then to the Guard Room where you use the Gold key to descend to Teleporter Room but at this stage the Teleporters failTeleporter Room from Trapdoor 1 , Blue Stones: To descend to activation platform in Teleporter Room take Trapdoor 1 down to Fetid Sewers, battle the unholy horde and seek the NW stairs, these open up about 10 minutes after the horde appear, find your way to the activation platform where all or some teleporters initiate for realTeleporter 1 : Advanced Tomb! TIP! this is a great mission but 1 critical factor, KILL THE RATBOSS, the special trapdoor nearby then unlocks and that opens a whole new mission worth doing!! you'll love itTeleporter 2 : Advanced Sewers TIP! this time the trapdoor pit in the middle IS OPEN and leads to a gorgeous lake (full of loot) Teleporter 3 : Advanced Castle TIP! easiest teleporter mission of the lot, teleport - find the path, grab the awesome loot, simple. do this one if your team are lowTeleporter 4 : Advanced Dungeons TIP! this is an Arena Battle revisited, have keys, bombs and a strong teamTeleporter 5 is hidden in Advanced Tomb and where this goes is still under development at the time of this note[the trapdoors in Blue Stones are numbered the same way as Teleporter Room (But without the numbers)]Trapdoor 1 : descend to Advanced Fetid Dungeons, tricky battle situation but look out for the NW stairs several minutes after the Unholy Horde appear, this is worth checking out Trapdoor 2 : Tip grab the Blue crystal to descend to Mine Bridge, either stay on the bridge and exit via stairs to Upper Dungeon or drop off Bridge and hope you have better options on the Mine Floor TIP! grab the rocks on the Bridge after you kill the Stone DemonsTrapdoor 3 : Advanced Sewers MissionTrapdoor 4 : Tip grab the green crystal to descend to Pontious Mission 1, INFO this can be heavy heavy stuff but a critical moment in the game TIP! seek the floor plate in a Uguardian's cage
