Legend of Grimrock 2

GETTING ONTO THE "ZONES LEVEL"   this level is deep into the game!

To get onto Zones you have to have completed the 'Spiral Dungeon' and the "Enter My Prison"  section that you start from Blue Stones with 3 prison keys!
Entry to Zones is OFF the Night Forest so you need 2 Cube Keys to even enter that!  In the Night Forest you find the next MINE KEY! 
Keys needed to progress through the Zones Level is:  2 Gear Keys (start) - 2 Round Keys (middle)  2 hub keys (middle)  and final section 1 Blue Gem (if you have 2 ornate keys you can access Blue Stones II) 

ROUTES TO ZONES >  TOMB LEVEL to River to Night Forest (drop down trapdoor) OR if you already attempted Zones and got as far as the 2 Round Locks then do EXPRESS ROUTE below
ZONES (attempted) >  SWAMP LEVEL (ideal from Spiral)  exit onto Dungeons, ascend to Arena > use spare Tomb Key (from Swamp E) to ascend to Zones from Arena 

Z O N E S    STANDARD

K0 from Night Forest you drop into water and face foes that can live in water, you need to move forward avoiding trapdoors
K1  find dry side rooms that are either side of the trapdoors, fight the foes from there OR drop them down the trapdoors
K2  spend some time ridding the water channel of as many foes as you can, this will come in handy later
K3  venture along a side corridor where there are 4 levers, pull all 4 lever to open the 3 wooden gates at the top of the ladder
K4  ascend the ladder to the beginning of the Zones, if you used the spare TomB key in Arena - you can now benefit from a safe exit back to Arena and a secret stash, load up new bombs if you can
K5  moving forward you come to 2 Gear Locks, insert the keys and move forward, a Rodent Army will try and overrun you, drop them down the trapdoors or slay them
K6  try and avoid falling down a trapdoor, see J8 above, you next need 2 Round Keys, insert them and look to your left, IF you have the 4th Mine Key insert it now, it takes you to the OPTIONAL BASIC mission BUT now another gate has opened at the S edge of the mine revealed a pretty top LOOT STORE, go get it!
K7  the next 2 locks are HUB LOCKS, you can go straight ahead but SAVE THE GAME NOW, if it doesn't work out you may have to retrace your steps back to the Zones Canal, jump in the water from another section
K8 the HUB LOCKS are down in the water not far from the Mine Exit - try and find them by just walking straight ahead and you should seee them shortly up ahead, 1 left and 1 right, insert the keys
K9  return to the Zone Pavement via one of the ladders - you now see Blue StonesII on your left, the two Ornate Locks can be unlocked by the Ornate Keys that are up on the top stone walkway but they're difficult to find as they are behind other items e.g. 1 is behind a map, 1 is behind a blue potion
  
Z O N E S    ADVANCED

L0   move forward, you come to 2 Teleporters, 1 turns on but is locked, the other is inactive at this stage
L1  move forward to the final lock, insert the Blue Gem - explore the inner section of the Zones Dungeon, find the up ladder to the wooden parapet
L2 move along the wooden parapet either South or North, then explore the outer preimeter of Zones heading East to the final up ladder
L3  move up the ladder to the Top stone parapet, this hides 2 ornate keys for the Blue StonesII, remember to get them, they are hidden behind other items
L4  remember at L0 you found the 2 teleporters, you can try jumping into the Live one now but you will probably find that the location is flooded with Rodent Army that you dropped down through trapdoors in Zone
L5  so you have a job to do before jumping into that Teleporter, you can now leave the Zones and eliminate the Rodent Army from the start of Spiral, exit onto Dungeons, (go past Zhandul Orb to a stairway) then return to Spiral Start and take down the Rodent Army that dropped down from above
L6  having taken the Rodent Army out NOW return to ZONE (go back the way you came!) and drop down from the Stone Parapet onto the Teleporter, you will see a new hallway opened up in Spiral, fight your way through this to Blue StonesII, you don't need the Ornate Keys for unlocking BlueStonesII but what they do is RESTORE the majic bridges to BlueStonesI
L7  in the new hallway you found are 2 levers, 1 of them switches on the inactive teleporter mentioned at L0 

K E Y S     M A  P

GEAR KEYS >    1 in Arena Central, jump off top ledge at pavement tiles, another 1 in Mines E after doing the Catacombs (you enter with 4 Gems) 
GEAR KEYS >   2 further Gear keys in the centre of the Spiral (2nd time around when Skeleton Commander opens his offices) 
TOMB KEYS>   there are three in the SWAMP (2 in NW and 1 SE)  
SKULL KEYS   >   check Tomb Level, secret button NW opposite ladder but you need an ornate key to get the inner room where the Skull Key is, another Skull Key on Station level (W) by exit gate
SKULL KEYS >   check Castle E after inserting the Hub Key in the Herder bridgeway, after the Hub Gate opens keeep marching forward through a false wall, find 2 skull keys! 
SKULL KEYS >   Central Castle, "the pantry" to unlock the pantry use a Gold Key, find a Skull Key. another one on N Oasis in waves! 
MINE KEYS  >  SW Dungeon, on coming down stairs from up high in the Castle secret room open on ledge.  another one in NE dungeon, just after using Skull Key to enter dark hallway. 
MINE KEYS >   Park in middle of Night Forest, just after getting in with 2 Cube Keys, another 1 River SE after using the 2 gold keys in RIVER 
GOLD KEYS >   tomb level  NW up ladder in alcove, another one Dungeons E: drop down into water use Brass Key to unlock underwater stash room find Gold Key! 
GOLD KEYS >   1 in Arena Central, jump off top ledge at pavement tiles,   another 1 in Mines E after doing the Catacombs (you enter with 4 Gems) 
ORNATE KEYS >  2 in Forest, 1 in treasure chest and 1 on path that leads W to Castle (turn torches off), 2 in 1st Dungeon immediately below the 2 ornate locks near Blue Stones 
ORNATE KEYS >  1 at edge of pond RIVER E, another 1 in Spiral N after using the 3rd Mine Key 
BRASS KEYS  > NE of Castle on high ledge -  another 1 in Mines E after doing the Catacombs (you enter with 4 Gems) 
HUB KEYS >   3 in MINE W,  you need 2 Mine Keys - 1 to open the entrance trapdoor from Tomb, then another to open the Mine S door (+kill the Magma Golem) then exit up stairs to Forest BUT return straight away and find that a secret mine entrance has now opened revealing 3 Hub Keys!
HUB KEYS > 2 in Dungeon SW after coming from Cemetary Teleporter, 2 more in ARENA N after using the 2 gear keys in Spiral!
ROUND KEYS >  1 in Dungeon SW after coming from Cemetary Teleporter,  2 more in ARENA N after using the 2 gear keys in Spiral!
ROUND KEYS > 1 in Spiral W after Teleporter from Oasis Beach another one Spiral SW (just after placing Rapier on puzzle statue) . another one Tomb S, after fighting tons of Mummies in a corridor!
PRISON KEYS  >  Centre of Spiral, just as you ascend to bridgeway, 2 more Arena E after using the Skull Key, look at the wall alcoves! another 2 in Spiral N after using the 3rd Mine Key 
CUBE KEYS >  1st one in centre of Oasis Beach, stone circle! another two in Gardens NW (wooden walkway at edge of Gardens)  one key at each end of walkway! 1 further Cube key in the centre of the Spiral (2nd time around when Skeleton Commander opens his offices) 
IRON KEYS >  the 4 Archers on the platform opposite the Blessed and Cursed Torches guard the 1st Iron Key! 
IRON KEYS >  CASTLE E, underwater shenanigans after using the 1st Cube key to get into the private garden, find 2 Iron Keys in Castle E sewers. 1 at edge of pond RIVER E, on alcove table
RAPIER SWORDS > SEE IRON KEYS ABOVE, CASTLE E same location, 2nd Rapier in Central Arena on stairs down from Zones (secret room)

SECRETS

A  Cemetary SW  middle alcove, place item back to open nearby trapdoor 
B  in "Enter my Prison"  the snakes are Cursed, avoid them, do not kill them (or their devils will appear) 

TIPS

The Night Forest is a desolate place, you gain entry with 2 Cube keys. But the Night has effectively only 2 things on offer, 1 a Mine Key and 2 the entrance to the Zones. Leave this until much later if you can - Zones is virtually at the end of the game, so do everything else first
Get to the Night Forest from the RIVER (ornate trapdoor), get to the River from the Tomb (2 iron keys) 

"Enter My Prison" @ Blue Stones - Version N 

G0   once you have the three prison keys head back to Blue Stones
G1  insert the keys in such a way that you end up looking at the open pit once all 3 keys have gone in
G2   once you see the pit unlocked now walk away from the pit and head closer to Blue Stones, see if any new Magic Bridges have activated
G3   you should see that an alcove is now accessable, load up new stuff, return to the pit, descend to the SNAKE PIT zone
G4  from within the cage, place an item onto the floor just outside the cage, this releases the cage
G5 take out the Mosquitos, ignore the Snakes!  Head to secret button on nearest wall by 2 alcoves, press it and exit WEST to the River [save the game]
G6  now return to the Snakes Pit if you can, highly dangerous but you do need to press a couple of secret buttons in there to open Entrances into this zone (for future) 
G7  now back to exit WEST, you can jump into the River if you like but without 2 Gold Keys you will soon be climbing back up the ladder to get out again 
G8   assuming you don't have 2 Gold Keys continue exploring the River Gardens, you find a lawn with an Aquebus (rifle) and items
G9  place an item onto the stone teleporter, this transports you to the top of the high Bridge Parapet in the Private Gardens
Private Gardens Parapet (red gem) 
H0    Fight off several undead and remain on the parapet, ignore the Skeleton Commander, he will do you no harm this time
H1   Focus on the immediate objective, GET THE 2nd RED GEM!! You're close, just stay on the parapet, move closer to the Skeleton Commander
H2   on moving right up to the Skeleton Commander turn LEFT, keep walking SLOWLY, you take a fall down to the wooden bridgeway THAT'S OK!!
H3   on the wooden bridgeway very slowly move towards the public gardens (EAST) stay on the wooden bridgeway
H4   move forward to the end of the wooden bridgeway, do not fall off, pick up the Red Gem at the end of the bridgeway, now fully explore the bridgeway, pick up a CUBE key (AT EACH END) and jump off the * SOUTHERN * Section away from the trees (check there is a ladder back up)  
H5   you now have the final gem to unlock the gems hallway on Oasis Beach
H6 return to Spiral Dungeon, move through it as before, exit onto Oasis Beach, enter Arena, then exit onto Oasis, then enter Gems Hallway with the final gem
H7   enter Catacomb Level, first a puzzle area, you have to figure this out fast or all doors close on you
H8   if you get it wrong you get one more chance, press the secret button to start all over but basically chuck everything you've got and hit the opposite pressure pads
H9   once across get ready for 4 Wyverns, if you have frost bombs then "now is the time"! DO NOT FALL INTO THE SEWERS or it is a long way back [SAVE THE GAME]

Catacombs Puzzles

I0 basically it's all about pressure pads in here, if you can't figure it out look down onto the Sewers below, is there a pressure pad 1 ledge down? If so, drop an item down there
I1  on exiting Catacombs you're back in THE MINE, FOCUS on getting the three keys in this room, gold, brass and gear keys!! try and get all 3 then exit back to Dungeons! (or anywhere safe!) 
I2  you should now have 2 gear keys, 2 gold keys and 1 cube key - so you have a choice of TWO missions, the 2 gear keys just past where you placed the Rapier Sword in Spiral Dungeon OR 2 gold keys in THE RIVER
I3  it doesn't matter which you do first, let's say the Spiral Dungeon, OK attend there with the 2 gear keys, fight a pack of wild dogs and pull the lever
I4   you descend to a Sanctuary Corner in the Swamp, the stairs down from here lead to a Nightmare Section of the Arena [SAVE THE GAME] VERY DIFFICULT 
I5   understand the level, on Ledge 6 you can fight your way through to Ledge 6 flame torches, remove them, the portcullises raise to reveal a magic bridge below (look down) jump down to it
I6   Ledge 5 contains a ladder up in case you want to go back up but no keys, Ledge 4 contains 2 Round Keys, get them, Ledge 3 contains 2 Hub Keys, get them, ok now exit the level !!  
I7   So now you have 2 Gold Keys to use in THE RIVER, LOOT to be had = Silver Scepter and Shaman Staff, not to be sniffed at - at all, plus, look out for the Mine Key, previously guarded by a huge Ogre!! So head down to THE TOMB, you should have opened shortcuts in there back to THE RIVER
I8   So now you should have the 3rd Mine Key, head back to the Mine and find the 3rd Mine Lock (it is back where you got the 3 Hub Keys from!!)  find the entrance from the Tomb, easiest way, drop down the original trapdoor
I9   re-enter THE SPIRAL DUNGEON from the Mine but a whole new set of rules now apply WATCH OUT!! 

Spiral (with Rat Bosses) entry from Mine with 3rd Mine Key

J0  from the Mine using the 3rd Mine Key  re-explore the Spiral Dungeon
J1  if you get to gates that are locked - you need to fight the new enemies that have appeared on the scene, kill them, this will unlock the gates
J2  get to the ladder in the centre of the spiral dungeon, 2 new secret rooms have opened revealing critical keys for the Zones Level
J3  this could be a long long mission and etheral creatures also need to be killed here to unlock gates so have the etheral spell ready (all characters on the spell chart) 
J4  once out the other side you now finally need to get to the NIGHT FOREST
J5  Get to the Night Forest from the RIVER (ornate trapdoor), get to the River from the Tomb (2 iron keys) 
J6  use 2 cube keys to gain access, grab the Mine Key from the centre park and head NORTH to the Zones entrance
J7  once in the Zones PULL 4 levers in a side passage you can the ascend the ladders up to the 3 wooden gates (which are now open)
J8  if you drop down a trapdoor before managing to ascend the ladders - provided you pulled the 4 levers - get to back to ZONES (attempted) >  SWAMP LEVEL (ideal from Spiral)  exit onto Dungeons, ascend to Arena > use spare Tomb Key (from Swamp E) to ascend to Zones from Arena

GETTING THE THREE PRISON KEYS    ::    QUESToneM: Beyond the Spiral Dungeon!

C0 on entering the Spiral Dungeon unlock the first two locked gates with Hub Keys
C1  the next locked gates also need Hub Keys
C2  finally the last 2 gates need 2 Skull Keys
C3   Climb the ladder just past these final gates noting the secret button beside the ladder, ONLY use that if you want to release all the brickwalls enclosing the nearby Forcefields. Pressing the secret button will OPEN the walls revealing the forcefields! so don't waste it if all the walls are already open! only works once
C4   Move along the raised pavement, pick up a prison key from an alcove in raised pavement pillars and move along, reach the exit onto Oasis Beach. Find the stones circle, pick up the Cube Key. Find the ARENA entrance, note that 3 round keys are needed here
C5   Find the statue in the trees, place any item onto it, you are teleported to the Puzzle Statue, if you have a Rapier Sword place it into the Arms of the puzzle statue
C6 pick up the Blue Gem and the Round Key
C7  You have the Cube Key from Oasis Beach so return to the NE Dungeon where you saw the Sign "CUBE" as per step B3 - unlock the gate and enter the "Private Garden" 
C8 just as in the Main Gardens, line your crew up on a mudroot plant and march straight ahead into the Castle
C9   turn right then left (NORTH) look up at the ceiling for a box structure - move below it, jump off the edge from there!  (EAST)

QUEST ADVENTURE   Beyond the Spiral Dungeon!

D0   jump into the water, immediately find the safe flooring (NORTH) (it is marked with a RED GEM)  and fight the soldiers from there
D1  try and eliminate all the soldiers then move SOUTH to collect THE RAPIER SWORD! 
D2   ascend the ladder and move SOUTH and jump down the other side of the gate but keep close to the gate so that you land right next to it, this opens the gate and you collect 2 IRON KEYS from behind the gate!
D3 return to safe flooring, now ascend the ladder again, now jump in back by the gate again but find THE STAIRS UP to The Cemetary
D4  take all 3 prized possessions, blue healing crystal, green protection crystal and wristBracelet, the main gate opens
D5 IF you have a gold key, retrace your steps back towards the stairs, find the gate that has a GOLD LOCK, use your Gold key to enter a sacred yard 
D6   now go through yon Main Gates and take the Teleporter back to Dungeons Central, see if any magic bridges have energised before jumping down
D7   you now have a choice, use your two Iron Keys (in the Tomb) OR use your Rapier Sword back at Spiral Dungeon's Puzzle Statue! 
D8 it doesn't matter which you do first but let's say you decide to do the 2 Iron Keys in the Tomb next, so make your way to the NW corner of THE TOMB, insert 2 Iron Keys
D9   Enter Quest River, note on jumping in the Trapdoor, 1 Ornate key needed here - remember where this trapdoor is, you'll get an Ornate Key soon!

QUEST ADVENTURE  Beyond the Spiral Dungeon!
E0  find the ladder up to the Ogres' Pond, pull the switches down to activate magic bridges, pull the switches back up to set up a pathway to the Pond Sanctuary ledge (FOOD!) which contains an Iron Key
E1  TIP, take out all the Ogres before setting the switches back up, otherwise making it out of the Pond alive after 'getting your Iron Key and Food' will be jolly hard work, if your crew can even succeeed, with the Ogres gone, it's easy 
E2   in the Pond at the ladder out FIND THE ORNATE KEY as soon as you get out of the water! 
E3   return to the start of the River, use the Ornate Key to descend to NIGHT FOREST, note the locked gate and the sign "CUBE" move along, have some boms ready, you will need them up the stairs 
E4   grab the Heavy Weapons 3 "AX" marvellous axe for your Minotaur! So you have gained One Iron Key and One "AX" from this mission but remember there is a CUBE gate down there  too!!
E5   now you can use the Rapier Sword that you found at Step D1. Head back to Spiral Dungeon, right through to the end and exit onto Oasis Beach
E6   Again use the statue in the trees to teleport to the Puzzle Statue, this time place the sword in the statue's outstretched arms, pick up a Round Key from the other side of the portcullis gate! (essence of Balance Alcove!)
E7   jump down and note the gate that requires a Gear Key! if you look through you see a Second Gear Lock beyond that, so it s a double Gear Lock!  note this for future! 
E8   descend to the Tomb, carefully check the passageway for the 3rd of 3 Round Keys!   Now you can return to Oasis Beach and enter THE ARENA!!  You should have all 3 Round Keys needed to enter! 
E9    take care returning to the Spiral Dungeon, the Tomb exits back through The Castle, could be tough going 
A R E N A     ( 3 Round Keys Needed )  **   focus > > >   KEY TARGETS  < <  2 prison keys   and   >>  1 Gold Key, 1 Gear Key   **
F0  On starting in the Arena you must decide whether to save your bombs for later, or use them in here. If you can possibly do so, save them for later! Your crew should be able to fight their way up a couple of Arena levels to the Skull Lock
F1   does your crew have a Skull Key?  If not you will have to return to 1 of 2 places, depending on whether you went to either one before :1 is in the Pantry Room in the castle (unlocked using a Gold Key), 1 is also  In Tomb, move into Mummies Guard Dogs Barracks and find the ladder, secret button opposite allows access to Light Armour stash. in here is an Ornate Lock, past that is Skull Key
F2   so if you need a skull key, check which one of those you didn't go to before and GO GET IT!!   :)  [Route to Castle > Get back to entrance to Private Gardens, use Dungeons Approach as per STEP B3, ascend the ladder to Dungeons Platform SOUTH, then ascend the next ladder where signs say "only the defeat"   ... "of the crowern army" see STEP W]
F3   insert the Skull Key and prepare to fight half a dozen UNDEAD, these creatures are TOUGH!  would be good to take all of them out but don't allow them to surround you, very dangerous [SAVE THE GAME]
F4   have in your mind the overall ambition of this mission, to grab 4 keys: 2 prison keys and a gold and a gear key
F5   you should already have 1 prison key from the final part of the Spiral Dungeon (as soon as you get up the ladder onto the bridge span!) so now you're looking for 2 more to complete the 3 needed back at Blue Stones!!
F6   Pay attention as you go past the Skull Lock (Gate) ascend the ladder and look EAST! pick up 1 prison key from the nearest alcove, now look down from your immediate position - you can SEE the second Prison Key in another alcove 1 ledge below, jump down and get it!
F7   now just pass through the Stone gateway again, ascend the ladder and move WEST 
F8  continue along the undead ledge, find a piece of ledge that changes to a different kind of paving!  Jump off from there, pick up 1 Gold Key, 1 Gear Key, exit back to Oasis Beach 
F9   Find the Gem Hallway, you should have 3 Gems by now, insert them all, you find that the hallway requires 1 more Gem, you should have seen it by now in Castle Gardens, up on the Bridgeway!!  (You will get it later!!) 
FA   emerge back onto Oasis from the hallway and pick up the Skull Key from the Beach Altar (waves lapping over it)
FB   go back into Arena and use the Skull Key to enter 1st Dungeon N, now head to Blue Stones with your 3 prison keys!!!

QUEST ADVENTURE (from start) 
A From Level 1 descend to Level 2 which is underwater
B Ascend ladder and find secret button
C  Move to next ladder which brings you to Barrels and Boxes on a wide platform surrounded by water
D Take the torch marked (Blessed) and descend via the trapdoor to The Tomb
E  Make your way through the tomb and to an upper ledge, take the Torch by the corpse on the floor
F Exit to The Forest
G  Find 2 Ornate Keys in the Forest, 1 in the Treasure Chest, 1 on a path leading to the Castle
H Exit onto Dungeons South - take the Blowpipe and assemble with your Darts for the Ratmaster
I  Jump back into the water and find the platform where you took the Blessed Torch, now take the Cursed Torch and return to THE TOMB

QUEST ADVENTURE
J  find the MINE ENTRANCE (just note it for now, as you need the Mine Key) 
K  find the Magic Bridge Locks, (two Tomb Locks either side of stairs) note where they are, return later with the 2 Tomb Keys 
L  Descend the stairs, grab THE IRON KEY guarded by several Archers
M  You should now have 2 Ornate Keys and an Iron Key, return to the Launch Beach and find the Entrance to the Spiral Dungeon (actually it's the EXIT  -  (NO ENTRY!))
N   Find the Ornate Lock  on the Launch Beach, descend to Dungeons NW, check out the 2 further Ornate Locks, the keys for these are in the water below them
O  Descend into the water, grab the 2 Ornate Keys, return to ledge and insert them in the locks, this energises a pathway to Blue Stones
P   At the Blue Stones carefully look for a 2nd pathway at the same level as the first, travel along it, use Iron Key to open locked portcullis
Q   Throw an item to land on the opposite Floor Pressure Plate, this seems to only activate a magic bridge but in fact ALSO opens a nearby flooded corridor gate
R   Once the magic bridge is on, jump into the water, find the nearby flooded corridor gate, go through it to SWAMP
S   Enter Swamp and lead Skeleton Commander, North to a number of "killing zones" where you can despatch him and his cronies!  Find the ROPE near some ruins and find the Entrance to the Spiral Dungeon at the Northern edge of the Swamp!
T In Swamp find at least 2 Tomb Keys (there are 3 ) and return to Tomb where you noted the Mine Entrance, insert 2 Tomb Keys
U   Walk on the activated Majic Bridge to Dungeons SE - you must ascend the ladder on the SE platform and fight the crowerns, kill at least 1 to open the SE gate to Gardens, killing the Spider also opens that gate
V   Explore the Gardens but exit back to Dungeons from the NE gardens stairs, find the Gear key, ascend back up the stairs to the Gardens
W   Find the Mudroot plant near the North Wall of the Gardens - using the Mudroot plant as a guiding marker keep walking North, straight into THE CASTLE
X   In the Castle kill two soldiers and open both Exit Gates, drop items out of each exit Gate and fight a third soldier who emerges from a secret room
Y   Drop down 1 level, remove the items you dropped, fight the 2 Wyverns, drop down 1 more level, find the Pantry, it is locked with a Gold Lock but apart from food contains a SKULL KEY too!
Z   Drop down 1 more level, exit back to the TOMB, "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!!?" prepare for Dog Fighting, better get those bombs ready!!

QUEST ADVENTURE
A0  Go through the gates that were previously locking those dogs in, find an up ladder, opposite that is a SECRET BUTTON, enter the secret hall as soon as possible (LOOT!)  - inside the secret hall is a locked room, use the spare Ornate Key here, pick up a Skull Key!
A1  if you can't make it into the HALL then ascend the ladder but there are plenty of Mummies up top, so you had better have a full crew at this stage, grab the GOLD KEY! 
A2  back on the ground find the entrance to the River!!  Two IRON KEYS are needed to enter The River from here! 
A3   ascend the ledge where you found the Torch (STEP E) continue along to the Gear Lock and enter a dangerous area of THE TOMB, move to the Western edge of the Tomb and find 3 Secret Buttons! (LOOT!)  
A4   ascend the ladder to the central structure, fight any flying monsters you see, bide your time and at the right moment jump down to the ground and enter the Castle Barracks
A5   ascend the ladder in the Castle and keep moving UP!  (ladder missing from one ledge?  look carefully, 1 end of the ledge is a false wall!) ..... on the top level look for a secret wall at 1 end and enter a secret passageway, take an item, (frost bomb) then place it back, a special entrance then OPENS! 
A6    stairs down from top ledge leads back to Dungeon (Secret door opens, find 1 Mine Key!)   
A7   if you have a brass key - then look for the Brass Key stash (contains a Gold Key) in the Eastern flooded Dungeon - not far from the flooded corridor gate in Step R     
 A8   return to TOMB and find the Mine Entrance as in Step J. You now have the Mine Key, so unlock it 
A9   descend into the Mine, try and jump ON TOP of the Lava Monster, either from the wooden ramp, or get him into the Mine Workings and jump on him from above!
B0  go to the Northern gate in the Mine, place any object behind the gate, the gate opens to reveal Stone Monsters, kill half a dozen of them and the Trapdoor UNLOCKS!!
B1  clear out the Stone Monsters from the Mine and descend down the trapdoor to THE CEMETARY! DANGER!  3 Undead are here guarding the cursed remains of Vohhoo their ancient master! Take down all 3 but it won't be easy!
B2  after killing all 3 take the teleporter back to Dungeons but look carefully for 2 alcoves side by side!  Only 1 seems accessable but solve the simple puzzle to reach them both!!  KEYS HERE: 2 hub keys, 1 round key!
B3   using the Skull Key that you found at STEP Y  or at STEP  A0  find the NE corner of the Dungeon, not far from the flooded corridor gate at Step R, use the Skull Key to enter an abandoned hallway, find the Mine Key here, note the entrance to the Private Garden (Cube Lock) now return to the Mine!
B3  now that you have the Round Key, (Step B2) return to THE SWAMP and begin the Spiral Dungeon!  (see STEP R)
B4  In Spiral Dungeons look out for Spider Eggs, these are hanging bags full of spiders, opposite each Spiders bags there is a secret stash room, find the secret button 
B4 just prior to Triple Portcullis Gates use the exit from the Spiral Dungeon to The Launch Beach
B5  to complete the Spiral you need SIX keys : 4 hub keys and 2 Skull Keys. to get the 2 skull keys now return to THE CASTLE, either via the FOREST, or via the Top Ledge of the Castle viz Step A5 or through the Wyverns Posts !!  
B6  to get through the Wyverns Posts (best way) head back to the Castle as at Step B3, make sure you enter via the Ramp as at step W, this time jump down and throw items to where the Wyverns were sitting, now access their posts!
B7   get through to the Herders Committee Room, ascend the ladder, insert a Hub Key, keep moving forward in a straight line until you see the Skull Keys, NOW RETURN to the Spiral Dungeon!
B8   Back in the Spiral Dungeon, open the Triple Gates using a secret button at the end of the Passageway, LARGE BATTLE SCENE HERE, have your bombs ready!! SAVE THE GAME  
B9   Note at the Crabs Nest, look at the Triple Gates next to the Forcefields, there is a strange lock!!  This is a Prison Lock and will unlock the Triple Gates if they jam!! Remember that for future!
