v1.2 UPDATE
A bunch more textures added, now taking the total to 478!
v1.0 UPDATE
As soon as Nexus approved the mod I was ready with a big update, so I decided to move out of the beta phase and call this v1.0 (which I will update in the near future).
It has almost twice as many updated textures as the beta and includes an optional (mild & performance friendly) ReShade preset as well, to enhance the contrast & saturation.
What's in the pack?
The pack contains a .tpf file you can use with Texmod.
(I know, not everyone likes it, but that's the only program I know how to use. I'm happy to collaborate with people who can make easier to use packages.)
It's far from comprehensive, but it's still nice to see a bunch of sharper textures in the game 20+ years later.

How to use:
0. I recommend starting with the BO2 Re-Vamped patch, which you can find here:

It fixes compatibility, widescreen and resolution issues, etc. It's just one file you need to extract into the game's installation folder.
1. Download my mod and unzip it to a folder of your choosing.
2. Download Texmod: https://www.moddb.com/downloads/texmod4
3. Unzip it anywhere and open Texmod.exe
4. Click the big Folder button under Target Application and select bo2.exe in your BO2 installation folder.
(e.g. if you have a Steam copy: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blood Omen 2 Legacy of Kain)
5. On The Package Mode tab click the little folder button and add my .tpf file.
6. Click Run.
That's it! You're good to go.
(It might take a few seconds longer for the game to launch while it loads the new textures.)
You'll have to repeat steps 4-6 every time you start the game, but it will go much faster the second time.
If you have a Steam copy of the game and it fails to launch, try copying steam.exe & Steam.dll into the game's installation folder.
