ATTENTION!!! Common Infected - Volume ReBalance is needed for this mod to work. (on steam workshop)
This is the L4D2 Death Metal Overhaul, it is a complete rework of the games soundtrack (Except for select files I thought worked with the mod anyways, and files that I couldn't find.) and comes in two parts.
Things changed include:
Menu music
Combat music
Tank music
Witch music
Horde incoming tracks
special infected attacks sounds
special infected bacteria sounds
Victory music
Game over music
Saferoom music
Round end music
Campaign start music
Incapacitated music
Fair games music
Jukebox music
Finale music
Concert music
& much more
This mod consists of 100% original music, except at times where I directly cover the games soundtrack like in the round end music for l4d2, and horde drums. I kept pretty much all the ambient tracks the same because they are already good as they are. Some of the "mob" sound files which play before a horde arrives are slowed down, but at this point I think it fits and consider it a feature. Both parts of the mod are required for it to work and I don't know if it works with any other sound mods. Hopefully you enjoy and if you do leave something nice!
