theres a multiplayer version and a single player version has ray tracing, multiplayer version has increased texture detail and bloom and other stuff to make it look good, single player has this too. heres the shaders on half life 2 https://www.nexusmods.com/halflife2/mods/58/?tab=description L4d uses the same preset

Basically download reshade from reshade website for single player pick the addon one by scrolling to the bottom of the website and then you browse for your game.exe and when your in the preset part extract my files and then pick that preset after that make all things have ☑ on it after that
