About this mod

Armband that allows you to 'disguise' your main PC or any of the party members with the body/head of any game character, creature, etc. Even mismatch combinations (when models allow for it).

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Hello, everyone.  ^-^  These should be fully TSL patcher enabled, so they should not conflict with anything (small note at bottom).

I got kind of tired of needing a huge inventory full of 'disguise' items, or having to alter my appearance.2da and keep adding weird combinations of my favored PC head and some random body for times when I wanted to play with different looks than the game normally allows, so I designed this armband to allow for wearing any disguise, or any combination of head and body (say, Canderous' head on Bastila's body if you wanted) as long as both models actually support a body and a head separately.  Lots of them are "one-piece", and therefore you can not attach a head other than the normal one for that both, but still..   All you need do is equip it on your arm and use it like you would an energy shield, then navigate the dialog driven menu to choose your poison.

You can use the cheat console to get one using item code "kk_i_arm_dsg", or use a save editor to get one.. But trying to be lore-friendly, I envisioned the device as if it was a sophisticated holo-emitter array with a little data-pad, and then I figured it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for a certain lady bounty hunter and a grubby merchant to have them, so you can also get them by just playing the game.  One as loot, one for purchase.

Both are available on Taris, but again, I didn't want to break lore, so you can't get them until you've reached the lower city, since it would seem kinda silly to need Sith uniforms when you can look like one any time you wish.

I'm putting up 4 different versions here, all meant to work with a different combination of mods I've supported which add custom content.

The Base version supports no custom content.
The K1R version supports models added by the K1 Restoration mod (K1R).
The KK_PC version supports my custom female PC
...and the K1R_KK_PC version supports both of the above mods.

Please check the info files (TSL Patcher) and/or the readme text for information about install concerns, and be sure you grab the correct version for your install.

All versions are fully TSL Patcher enabled, and should more or less work with any other mods, though if you have entries added to appearance.2da, it won't know anything about them, and if your appearance.2da has been severely modified and changes the names or the ordering of the 'base game' models, things won't line up properly.

I'm considering these 'beta' because the dialog file (which is used as a menu to choose your disguise) is massive, and between that or some stray line of code in the oodles of scripts I had to deal with, who knows.. a bug or typo here or there would be far from impossible, so I'm hoping to get some feedback.

Thanks a bunch for having a look, and I hope you enjoy the mod.

Note about possible conflicts:  The only conflicts I can really see happening is if someone has drastically altered appearance.2da, or if you have already modified the inventory of Selven the bounty hunter on Taris (Lower CIty) and/or Igear's shop inventory (Undercity).  If you have, merely merge the changes to those files manually, or just don't install those files, and use the cheat console or a save editor instead to get the armband.

The patcher won't modify appearance.2da itself, but it will make modifications to globalcat.2da and spells.2da, but they're all dynamic, so it should work fine no matter if you've modified those previously, or how different they are from a 'base' state.  Virtually all other files should be original, and thus should have no potential conflict on any other mod in existence that I'd be aware of.
