Description:
KotOR has received many HD upgrades over the years via mods, to include all the textures and the menus and UI. The loadscreens, however, have remained painfully low-res. This mod replaces all the loadscreens with new HD ones. Most of the loadscreens are taken from a similar angle to the originals, but a few have been changed to better capture certain areas. The loadscreen GUI file has been updated to accept loadscreens of this size.
Installation:
MAKE SURE TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT RESOLUTION WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE FILE! IF YOU CHANGE RESOLUTIONS, YOU WILL NEED TO RE-DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT RESOLUTION. IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR DESIRED RESOLUTION, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT AND I MAY UPLOAD IT DEPENDING ON DEMAND.
This mod should be installed AFTER KOTOR High Resolution Menus and HD UI Menu Pack by ndix UR.
If you previously had Loadscreens in Color installed, search "Load" in your Override folder. Delete all the .tga files that appear in the search.
Drag and drop all the files from the Zip into your KotOR override folder. When prompted, make sure to overwrite the file "loadscreen.gui"
INCOMPATIBILITY:
THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH LOADSCREENS IN COLOR. FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE FILES FROM LOADSCREENS IN COLOR PRIOR TO INSTALLING. IF YOU FAIL TO REMOVE LOADSCREENS IN COLOR PRIOR TO RUNNING THE GAME, YOUR GAME WILL CRASH.
