I am not sure why some people are having problems with this mod (gray enemies) but my guess is that they are using graphic enhancers because i don't and the mod runs just fine.
A little something i want to add. From previous comments, people believed that when reloading a save game in the same zone, the zone level resets to the player level. This is actually false.
I use this mod along side the console mod and when I reload a save and display the space level, it actually says it's been set to Level 3 and not the same level as the player.
I believe it loaded the level difference set by this mod at load time before you fast travel, since I tried it after changing 03 to 05 and the space level after loading was Level 5.
I'm a noob when it comes to modding. But I hope this might help someone come up with a fix.
What the heck should i even use to open .json files? LOL Don't you think, that you should tell people first what tool should be used, instead of skipping right to telling what to change?! ...nvm! Turns out it's just a regular string of text saved in a simple format, that can be accessed with regular notepad! Should have definitely added that into description though! Not everyone have an instinct to instaly figuring out what to do with previously never seen extensions! Keep that in mind next time!
Any word on a zone-lock variant of this mod (for "old" KoA:R)? Some older comments hinted at the possibility, that would be a much needed fix. Thanks anyway for the mod, it makes the game a little more challenging.
It works well for me. Started a game to test it and all white enemies are now yellow and harder. However, when you shutdown the game and restart it in the same area where you left off, the enemies will go back to gray. The fix is you have to go out of the area and back in to get the yellow enemies again.
