For those who is trying to get rid of the junk items that is NOT a weapon or an armor, click the "manage" button on the far right to access that function.
There is a quest item window for non equipment. I basically just scan all items that are marked as a quest item. So it has similar limitations as the old script.
Yes, my bad, I figure that out on my own yesterday and come back to correct my post...
Anyway, can I just say that "manage" button does not give me the feeling that it leads to a standalone function area... I thought it's related to weapon or armor so did't pay attention. Well, maybe it's just me:) Great tool, can't thank you enough!
Some Items (specifically some of the DLC items), when I edit their level, it is not saved. For example, all the Fate items (Fate's Arbor etc.) just do not save the changes. And again some other times (dlc and non-dlc included) do change but then revert back when I load in again after closing the game. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong or something I'm not supposed to?
Well, I think this broke my game, after sinking 120+ hours into it, I just wanted to expand my inventory capacity. I was able to do that, but now I get a message that I can't save any data and the option to "cancel" or "continue without saving".
Starting from an earlier save (i.e. before I used the mod) does not appear to help anything, Hugely disappointed and frustrated. Is there any way to salvage my game? I can go back to the 100 item limit or else use the backpack exploit if I can just undo the damage here.
I started this game 3-4 times, never managed to finish it. In my last save, I got part of a set which I liked and then found out they drop all TOTALLY RANDOM. With this, I can finally enjoy the game ~
Thanks for this. I've completed the original a couple of times, back in the day, and decided to take the plunge when the Fate version went on sale.
Funny that the only problem with getting started with your editor was figuring out where the save files are. I have my Steam library on an external SSD, and so I finally had to Google where they are - which for me is :
Program files (86) - Steam - userdata - 64740032 - 1041720 - remote - autocloud - save
I was searching the usual save game locations, and actually found some for the original game - when I replayed in 2018 - but nothing from 2021 and Re-Reckoning.
Just got the gear from the "twink" chest in Gorhart, and am looking forward to seeing what the editor can do once I have access to the stash.
I'd just been using it to save on repair bills, and leveling the items in the starter chest, but I just got to an area where blue items are available from the vendor - and the world of Prefixes and Suffixes was opened to me when I checked out what a "Timeless" prefix means. :)
With a Sorcery character, being able to set: Prefix = Timeless = 16% damage reduction Suffix = of the Warlord = +30% Damage and +8% chance to Critical hit
...on Cowl, Robes, Shoes, and Hand-wraps is seriously OP - on it's own - but being able to add Player buffs like: "+1 to all unlocked Sorcery Abilities" - and many more - just makes this so I'm going to be enjoying the hell out of wreaking NPCs for a while, before I have to increase the difficulty and/or remove some buffs so that the rest of the game isn't a total face-roll.
Compressed files are supported. Your save game is always going to be around 4 mbs though. If you're using the ps4 version and your save file is 8mbs or whatever that means you have to decrpyt your save.

Or, use the "unstick" script
https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomsofamalurreckoning/mods/18?tab=description
Note:
1. Put the unstick.lua file to game root directory
2. The command you execute from f2console should be: run('.\\unstick.lua')

Yes, I was trying to modify equipped items.
Thanks for the answer.

My savegame files are over 4mb, should I stop using it or was this issue fixed? Thanks.
