ONLY THE FIRST DISTRICT IS PRESENT, AND CAN BE FOUND EXPLORING THE WORLD MAP.

This is the first beta release of this mod! This mod aims to add Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts 1
into Kingdom Hearts 3 as a new world. This beta adds in the (mostly) complete First District.
It is accessible via the world map (better instructions for getting there down below), with a unique
world model. The First District has been entirely rebuilt from the ground up using
the Kingdom Hearts 1 map as reference, with brand new models, textures, and more.
Assets made in Blender, Substance, and Unreal by me. Unreal Blueprinting by Critic!

The end goal for this mod is to add Traverse Town to the game seamlessly, with NPCs, side missions,
combat and more. This beta has a few interactions; moogle, save point, postcards, flowmotion, physics objects,
and blowing out the candles (hitting them or with magic) as a callback to KH1! The postcards can be collected,
but the final counting/tracking of them is not implemented yet.

Some models for the First District are incomplete or missing; the main gate, and mainly signs/art around the town.

I will be updating this as work continues. This has been over six months of work so far, and I'd love to see how
everyone feels about it so far. If you encounter bugs or have suggestions, please let me know!


HOW TO ACCESS THE MAP

You can fly to Traverse Town by departing from Twilight Town,
and flying straight out/up. You can see the exact path in the beginning
of this video.

I would suggest taking that path only- there are bugs on the other sections
of the world map right now due to this mod, and may break some gameplay.
This is being worked on.

Alternatively, if you have a mod menu (highly suggested, as there is no
way to exit the world at the moment) you can type this command:

open /Game/Maps/sms_tt/umap/tt_firstDistrict



HOW TO INSTALL


Download the mod files from this page, and extract the .pak file. 
Drop that .pak into your KH3 paks folder, found at:
...\UE.426\KH_3\KINGDOM HEARTS III\Content\Paks

Then launch the game!


KNOWN ISSUES

- Collision on the Accessory Shop chimney is easily broken, Sora can get stuck in.
Spamming flowmotion/attacks can get you out easily.

- Leaving from anywhere but Twilight Town to get to Traverse Town
can be bugged. Other general world map bugs have occured.

- NPC/Enemy AI does not work. Custom nav-meshing for them hasn't been figured out yet.

- The 'Data Greeting' option when entering the world does not yet work.


FAQ

What areas will be included in the future?

Most likely just the main ones that appear in Kingdom Hearts 1! While I'd love to
include the DDD ones as well, I just don't have the time on top of college. The First
District alone has taken the better part of 6 months. The currently planned
areas are the other two districts, the alleyway, and Merlin's cave!
