This is my REWASD configuration for KCD2. This is paid program which I own, but you can try for free on their website to see if you like it. There is a way to get it for fully free, but i am not discussing that here lol. I am using a Non Steam version of the game. So results may vary
To user:
1. Download the TPV Mod 2. For the user.cfg file I change it because i could not get f3/f4 to work out my computer (see below)
3. Download and install REWASD 4. Double click on my file which should open up REWASD 5. Select your controller XBOX controller and Apply to Slot 1
6. By default the controller is set to Default XBOX, this is your main setup. To go into Third person you click on the Share button on XBOX controller. This would turn the XBOX controller layout to support 3rd Person. After you click on the Share button to switch controls, press the XBOX button to change the perspective.
So it goes like this. Press Share button then XBOX button and you are in third person configuration. To go back to First person press Share button and Xbox Button again.
I know its kinda convoluted, but this is how I got it to work
If your Share button is opening up GameBar you can run This powershell to remove GameBar: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage or you can just change the button to something else
