About this mod
This mod adjusts the final damage that enemies receive, thereby approximately achieving the effect of increasing the enemies' health.
- Permissions and credits
Unlike other mods that reduce the damage dealt by players or increase the enemies' defense, the buff granted by this mod only affects the final damage received. Therefore, it won't make the damage ineffective just because the player's attack power is lower than the enemy's defense.
For example:
If the player's attack is 200 and the enemy's defense is 150, then the player can deal 50 damage (when enemy has enough stamina).
For mod that halves the damage, attack 100 is less than defense 150, and no damage can be dealt (unless enemy's stamina is empty).
For mod that doubles the defense, attack 200 is less than defense 300, and again, no damage can be dealt (unless enemy's stamina is empty).
For 50% version of this mod, it will deal 25 damage (even when enemy's stamina is full), as 50 damage can be dealt originally.
At the same time, I have also created optional files to increase ranged damage and unarmed damage, and reduce damage taken by the player. Main file and optional files can all be installed alone. And for sure they can be installed all together without confliction.
Features of different versions:
Damage_Tweak_xx: It's the main file. It reduces the damage taken by human characters to xx% and makes the game harder. The lower xx the harder.
Player_Damage_Tweak_xx: It's optional file, but it can be used alone. It reduces the damage taken by player to xx% and makes the game easier. The lower xx the easier. If you want enemies to be harder to kill while don't want yourself to be killed easily, you can use this together with main file.
Ranged_Damage_Tweak_xxx: It's optional file, but it can be used alone. It increases the ranged damage dealt by player to xxx% and makes the game easier. The higher xx the easier. If you want enemies to be harder to kill with melee weapon while don't want them to be hit by tons of arrows and still alive, you can use this together with main file to keep the ranged damage close to the original game.
Unarmed_Damage_Tweak_xxx: It's optional file, but it can be used alone. It increases the unarmed damage dealt by player to xxx% and makes the game easier. The higher xx the easier. If you don't want to spend too much time on unarmed fight, you can use this together with main file to keep the unarmed damage close to the original game.
The recommanded file combination is:
Damage_Tweak_ExceptPlayer_aa + Player_Damage_Tweak_bb + Ranged_Damage_Tweak_cc + Unarmed_Damage_Tweak_dd
Notes:
1. The buff of main file is provided to all human characters, both friends and feos. But animals won't be affected.
2. The damage from poison will not be reduced by this buff.
3. This mod (including the main file and the optional file) does not modify the existing data. Instead, it adds a new buff to the game. Therefore, it will not conflict with any other mod theoretically.
Installation: Place the mod file into
KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods
It should be like:KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\Damage_Tweak_xx
KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\Player_Damage_Tweak_xx
KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\Ranged_Damage_Tweak_xxx
KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\Unarmed_Damage_Tweak_xxx
This mod now supports English and Chinese localization.
If you encounter any bugs while using this mod, or if you need versions with different multipliers, please let me know.
Change Log:
1.4.0: The buff parameter has been modified so that the damage buff provided by the mod and the damage buff from the game itself are changed from an additive calculation to a multiplicative calculation. In this way, the bug that makes enemies invincible has been solved once and for all without modifying the buffs with the game. At the same time, the bug has been fixed where using lethean water would cause the buff provided by the mod to disappear and the peakpoints not to be refunded.
1.3.0: Updated mod flies for the new game version 1.2 at 13 March.
1.2.0: Fix the bug that npcs take much less damage than expected. The buff will no longer overwrite the damage reduction buff in the original game, but the damage reduction buff in the original game are all set to 1.0 to avoid damage immune bug.
1.1.0: Try to fix the bug that a few unique npcs (which have damage reducing buff in original game, mainly in dual) are immune to damage, now the damage reduction buff of this mod will overwrite the damage reduction buff in the original game. And the old version that affect both player and npcs is hidden because it is equal to main file + Player Damage Tweak.
1.0.1: Fix the visibility bug of ExceptPlayer version, now the perk will be hidden so you cannot activate it.
1.0.0:This mod is completely redone, fixing the previous bug where blocking would result in taking full damage when stamina was close to 0.
