I can buy everything with only the first quest of Peshek done.

Quest_reward_item seems to just give an item when finishing a quest, doesn't look like a trigger from stopping the item being active or inactive from the shop.

Moreover I don't get the item when finishing the quest either. Does it require to start the quest from scratch?

EDIT: I'm doing some testing, trying with the start father quest. There it gives the items. quest_id="31662772" & objective_id="5"
Will see if I discover why it's not giving it in the ones for Peshek

You can already buy all items once you have activated the miller to trade with you

That's right, otherwise it wouldn't be a quest reward. A trigger for activating/deactivating the items in the shop doesn't exist for this mod

You can't get an item as reward if the quest is already done.

Hi man, thanks for the mod.

One thing : with this mod enabled, some of the hoods of the game become dynamic, pretty much all the unique color hoods. Is it normal ? I mean is it something the mod should do ? It's not a problem for me, it's even a good thing, but I was surprised as I thought it was only affecting the two new hoods.

Another thing, I saw that the original mod by croaker had a green color for the items, would you consider making a standalone green colored version to be more like a forester outfit ? This one fit perfectly for a thief hanging around in cities, but does not really fit for wandering in the woods for my taste :)

Keep up the good work !

Croaker999 bundled his mod "Miller Guild Items" with "Dynamic Hoods and Scarfs". As I don't like to change the direction of mods which I didn't fully create myself I decided to make only some small changes and bundled it with "All Hoods Up" as we don't have any scarf with this armor. The second change was the color of the armor. From my point of view, black armor suits a thief much better in terms of visibility and conspicuity and makes him overall stealthier. The millers are a thief's guild and not Hunters. So, I don't think I will revert back to a green colored armor.

And I totally agree. The set as it is really give a shadow, classy, thief vibe. I just think the original look by croaker would have make a perfect forester style armor, I mean, as a standalone, obtainable in totally different ways then by the thievery quests.
But hey, that's just an idea I throw like that... Like some lazy afternoon you would have someday and searching to some useless but well design mod to make... I tried to opens the files and understand what's going on but really, I don't get it. I prefer let people who know what they are doing do the job

Anyway thanks for your contributions, nearly every mod you updated is a must have in my opinion ;)

I would love to see more lore-friendly colored armor too. Because most of the weapons and items (like bows, quivers or scabbard) have brown accents, so having this complete black armor doesn't feel well

If it doesn't feel well don't use it. Black clothing and armor is not less lore friendly as any other color in the game. Many of the original items are very dark or even black

Okay, can the quivers be retexture in order to match this armor? Would then all the quivers be black? Would be cool to have a standalone black quiver

Re-texturing the quiver itself shouldn't be a big problem for an experienced artist. With a stand-alone version, however, it looks very different. You would have to create a new CGF file for each quiver color. As the quiver comes bundled with the bow, you also have to do the bow textures.

I am not experienced at all, could you do this as a request, please? I think It would fit perfectly with your armor. I think that with the best bow and arrows could do the job

      Hi Zlhabou,

Don't rely on others to do everything for you. If you don't like the color, it is very easy to change. Open the mod file, change the number, save the mod file. Now you have a custom mod with the color you want. :)

It is strange to see the armor in black for me. As I said I was inspired by the midnight armor to make my own set, the reason I started was that I personally didn't like an all black set. A man wearing all black is not sneaky. He draws a great deal of attention to himself. The art of not being seen is blending in, which was the reason behind the browns and greens. These colors also become 'black' in low light.

A good thief should be able to stand in the middle of the market at mid day and have nobody look at him. It isn't that he is 'un-seen', he is 'un-noticed'.

None of this is criticism though, just preference. Really great work WileCoyote68 has done to keep the mod functioning for everyone.

Hi Croaker999, I noticed that you said it was very easy to change the color of the outfit and seeing as how I absolutely agree with you about blending in and being unnoticed, I would very much like to do so. I am however a little confused as to what you mean when you say to change the number in the mod file so if you could elaborate on it I would greatly appreciate it. For starters, what file should I use to open the mod file and what number would I need to change to make the color green, or any other color for that matter? I have some experience tinkering around with stuff but not a whole lot although I can learn! :)
In any case if you could give me a little help to tell me what I need to do I will be very grateful.
I love the mod and the concept and thank you for your contribution!

Download the Retro Version. It is the original Mod and Style only converted for the use of patched tables. No other changes.

Hello and thank you so much for your work, you've brought back so many great mods!!

If I could make one humble suggestion, I think changing the leg armour from the Noble Composite Chausses model to the Saxon Composite Chausses, would be great because they look very similar, but the Saxon version allows you to wear the guild boots with them while the Noble variant doesn't. Also, it just seems weird to be sneaking around with steel feet.

I'm sorry but I have to disappoint you. The guild boots in combination with the Saxon composite chausses look absolute horrible to me. I would only consider that if I change the boots to slippers (which looks terrible if the leg armor isn't worn). Therefore, I will not consider implementing your proposed change. In my opinion it is rather strange that you want to wear armor when sneaking. From my point of view this doesn't make sense at all.

Hello, the mod works correctly, even after installing in the middle of completing the quests.

I have a few small suggestions:
Would it be possible to replace the Guild Collar with the Lightweight dark brigandine? That brigandine fits the set prefectly, specially with the pauldrons.
I suggest that because, visually it looks "unblanced" having the Guild Cuisses which are using the model of plate armour.

Sorry, but I won't do that as the guild collar is a neck chain and the light dark brigandine a body plate. If it is only about the look you can buy it at any armorer and wear it as a supplement to the rest of the set. This set is all about thievery and not so much in being an armor for fighting purposes.

I understand that, but my suggestion was due to the Guild Cuisses being leg plate armor (visually)

You can combine the set with every piece of armor out there. It's your very personal decision which one you want to use.

I'm not sure why, but this mod doesn't work for me. I wasn't been given the items from the quest so I tried to add them myself with cheats but the items apparently don't exist in my game. Not sure what I've done wrong.

EDIT: I've messed around the tables like the names and such, looking at other mods that are working but nothing is helping. I tried removing all but this mod, same result.

EDIT 2: I copied the mod files into another mod that I know works and merged files if needed. Now I can spawn the items, but they are greyed out and I cannot use them.

I'm pretty sure that there is no problem with the mod. As you didn't provide any useful information which would make it possible for me to give support you have to investigate this problem by yourself

It's sounds like the gender problem of old Mods for me.
      (WH changed 0=male,1=female/1=male,2=female)
Are your sure your game and mods are really newest version?

Thanks for update ! That was fast, LOL
Downloaded and tested version "Miller Guild Items - PTF Edition-993-1-4-7-1587901993:
Erased previous mod folder and added in 1.4.7 version. Also added the new Perkaholic release (has minor issues)

    1) damage was not as bad after a brief wooden mace session (most > ~80s) and fixing all tailor kit items used up only 15% of one tailor kit, even tho shirt durability is currently 40, the lowest of all items. This seems to be acceptable, and much better than prior version, since I normally only wear Guild outfit while stealthing.

    2) BUG: can not equip BOTH cuisses and boots at the same time now so somehow the cuisses now behave like chausses having feet in the little icon pix. (could wear both at same time before).

      1) I won't do any further changes to the item balancing. Item durability and price have a plus of 33% compared to their counter parts. So the items are not to expensive and the durability matches the higher price.
      2) It's not a bug. I changed them from "Short brigandine chausses" to "Noble's composite chausses" because of a black texture i got for the noble one.

NO changes are needed after your last update re-balance. Have run it thru combat, training for hours even w/ maces, fist fights, mayhem and mischance and it is much better than great. Fixing the items is reasonable and in balance with the of the armor in game. You do good work and I appreciate this mod especially. Keep up the great output ! And here I had put this one back on the shelf I thought for ever. Shame that the shoes are wasted now but its enhancement is available from other perks anyway.

I don't think that the shoes are wasted now. In combination with the guild pants you are absolutely silent. If you are on a stealth mission it would be counterproductive to wear cuisses.
