When you're installing the lastest ReShade simply scroll down and select the Legacy standard effects package. That contains Colourfullness and stuff this needs. EZ.
With the latest reshade, install it the following way:
- Download ReShade, execute the setup and select KingdomeCome, then DirectX 10/11/12 - don't select any preset in the next screen, just click next - select the following packages: Standard effects, SweetFX, AstrayFX, OtisFX and Legacy effects at the bottom
The installer now asks what shaders to install from each of the selected packages. You could just install all of them, or select the following to keep it clean: - SweetFX: Curves, Levels, Vignette - AstrayFX: Clarity - OtisFX: DepthHaze - Legacy effects: AmbientLight, Bloom (note: not active initially), Colourfulness, DOF, FilmicPass - Finish the setup
- copy Perfection.ini into the \KingdomComeDeliverance\bin\Win64MasterMasterEpicPGO\ folder - now ingame press POS1 to open ReShade, skip the tutorial if you want, then click in the upper line and select Perfection.ini -> Done! - close Reshade again with POS1, but don't forget to check "Performance Mode" in the lower right of the Reshade window ;)
Candiety: I definately don't use DOF myself, it's nice for screenshots sometimes but for actual gaming i find it odd to emulate something that occurs naturally. For DepthHaze, you can adjust the strength of this shader. Personally i really like it, it only slightly blurs the far scene, so it also removes jaggy edges by adding some natural fog (haze). I guess this might look different depending on graphics settings.
Is there a way to adjust bloom? The default one I picked looked stupid (had some glare effect even when I was looking in the opposite direction of the sun) and the one I'm using now is overwhelming. For example, menu buttons are blindingly bright.
Followed Kaljostr's instuctions and everything seemed to work Had a bit of troubled with a bugged install that won't save new keybinds (reloads default F5 & F6 keybind on startup), but a reinstall seemed to fix it. Disabled DepthHaze & DOF since it makes my game very blurry.
1. Download the newest ReShade version and install it (keep the installer file). 2. Download this mod and upack the .ini file to \KingdomComeDeliverance\Bin\Win64 3. Run ReShade installer again, choose the option to modify. 4. On preset installation screen click browse and select the perfection.ini file 5. On shader selection screen select legacy shader pack. *If this won't work, try again and select all shaders, I did it this way and it works for me.
Tried it but could not find even 50% of necessary packages while installing ReShade. Maybe you have to try with V 3.x mentioned in the description. Newest version made the game even darker.
Check the link or google for ReShade resotiroy. There you can get correct verion and everything works fine. Can't tell then it looks "perfect" without comparison but feels good :D https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository#bow1ko4203njp
Hey there Can anyone help please? I have the problem, that the latest loading screenis shining through (like a cloud) in the background while the cut scenes are running. Does anyone know this problem?
?Same. It's as though when the screen is supposed to fade to black, it doesn't always fade to black.
Here's an example. This is the opening CS, and this text is supposed to be against a black screen, but you can see the silhouette of the main menu screen. This bleeds into all pre-rendered cinematics.
Also have the same problem and it does look like it only affects pre-rendered cinematics. It's just mildly annoying but would be good to figure out how to fix. If I had to hazard a guess, we're seeing some kind of post-processing effect associated with the shader package because it appears to show the last rendered frame as a ghostly outline once you go into a cutscene. Probably because the cutscene itself is pre-rendered and so there's no data to process there for these and it just hangs on to whatever was the last thing it processed if that makes any sense..

FTR I find it handy to turn off DOF with F5 as it blurs my game, and F7 for DepthHaze as it kills the background.
