I dont recommend this mod, since the result of this mod is quite the opposite of what it claims! The problem of the vanilla game is that player rely too much on master strike, since the npc can master strike player easily, so player rely on riposte and wont attack actively. The problem of this mod is that it nerf the npc master strike chance, BUT add it to perfect block chance, it doesnt help at all! Since most of the attack will be blocked by the npc, which is meaningless waste of stamina for player. so the player still dont want to attack actively and still rely on master strike!
Unless you are extremely good at the combat, DO NOT use this at the start. 9/10 attacks are perfect blocked, most of the time the one that isnt PB is dodged. I can see the fun of it later on but good luck fighting more than 1 armored opponent at a time while trying to level up. No hate to the mod, just a fair warning for beginners, this makes combat hard (more like tedious). You can win easily if you get the cinch buff perks but that is too cheesy for my liking, also the AI seems to PB even when staggered
You know what you guys should be doing instead of balancing the combat system? Give players the option to master strike when in consecutive waves of perfect blocks, only the NPC can do it and its really pathetic.
can u make a mod that extends timer on perfect block so we could skip training with bernard XD ? im always bad at it and it takes me ages before finishing it
Yes does this still work on current version? Combat is really annoying in this game, because dodge doesn't work and grinding... Also do you have to start new campaign?
It just means that, like it's been the case for all mods until they introduced said feature, the mod is incompatible with any other mods that use the same files (rpg_param.xml and perk_rpg_param_override.xml).
