Save file after I killed a few Cumans lurking under Skalitz castle around mill. Save is before running to Talmberg. You will have full Cuman armor set.
This is Steam version of save file so it may be slightly different in GOG version.
I recommend to use Treasure of the Past DLC as it may be only compatible with it. It works fine with hardcore mode.
Unzip downloaded folder and place save file into your Saved Games folder.
The armor is damaged as you might suspected, because I achieved it in combat, but most of it is in good condition and is useful as disguise when meeting Cumans.
The area around Henry is relatively safe and you may either scavenge more corpses, pick up herbs, follow the main quest - Run to Talmberg - or avoid it and explore the world instead.
