    Hi! I am glad that I see your work here - I know you from Witcher 3. I just downloaded the game today and I definitely try your mod. Looks great!

    Really liked Henry's complexion and the eyebrows tweak.

    But the eyes were a bit too bright in some cutscenes for me.

    Also, I'm not a fan of the vanilla haircut and unfortunately if you try to change haircut or beard at the bathhouse, this mod stops working entirely. Shame.

    Can't seem to get these to work no matter what I do, seems like the files are corrupt or something. They don't work whether placed in /data, /mods, or /_fastload, or all 3, with or without being listed in pak.cfg. also when going into the .pak and trying to view/edit the textures themselves gives an error, whereas other texture mods like the henry beard mod open in PS with the .dds extension just fine, and those also appear in game correctly as well.

      Strange... Here apparently everything is working fine. Can you try this instead? It's the method I used to make it work:

      Follow the steps below STRICTLY in the order:

      1. Download the mod MANUALLY... After downloading it, open the mod and extract the two folders into the game's Mods folder.

      2. You will now see that each folder has a "Data" folder inside, one contains the "el_CustomHenryComplexion" pak file and the other contains the "el_HenryCustomEyes" pak file... Remove the beginning "el_" from their names. After that open your notepad SEPARATELY and place the code below inside it (because you will create a mod.manifest file for the game to recognize the mod):

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <kcd_mod>
      <info>
      <name>El's Custom Complexions</name>
      <description>Some of my personal face textures.</description>
      <author>Ellise</author>
      <version>1.1</version>
      <created_on>2018-04-19</created_on>
      <dependencies>
      </dependencies>
      </info>
      </kcd_mod>

      3. After the copy-paste, save this notepad file as "mod.manifest" in the same folder where the "Data" folders are, but pay attention, it's ALONG with each "Data" folders, NOT inside them.

      4. Then finally doing all of that, open each mod.manifest files you saved and verify the information about each mod you installed. Then close them and run the game.

      That's it, I hope I could be of help :)

      Hello @Simbiose!
      You mean, that @Ellise created a mod and forgot to create .manifest files in the main character folders to make them work?
      And how she could be sure that it works? She tested them in game, didn't she? If I judge from the pictures...
      Doesn't she know about that...?
      Forgive my ignorance, I don't know how KCD modding works!

      Don't think manifest files were a thing when this was made.

      Agreed!!! +1
      Only one is capable of doing so, @Ellise!!!
      This was always bothered me, why does KCD doesn't have long hair in the game...?

    Hello @Ellise!

    I have also noticed, in my unmodded game, that other NPCs use Biancas and Henry's Mother face and I have met Lady Stephanie's face as well on a village lady!
    I wanted to ask, will those modded faces be shown as well or is it specific for those NPC Characters?

    Edit: I don't think they work. I installed them in the mods folder but I don't see any change in game.
    Latest v.1.9.6 by the way, with all DLCs!

    Edit 2: Nevermind,I made them work! Theresa is way too deferent from the main NPC character and it seems to have make-up on, very unrealistic and breaks immersion. Furthermore, the eyebrows look 90's. Plucking the eyebrows wasn't a thing in 1403!
    I'm in love with Lady Stephanie of Tulmberg!!! Though the red in the lips need a tone down a bit.
    By the way, you left another important character out, Johanka!

    Thanks!

    Could anyone tell me how to resolve my issue? When I first download this and put it in my mods folder, it works great! However, when I restart my computer or whatever, it doesn't work any longer. What works is when I redownload the mod and place it in my mods folder.

    the best face mod out imo. subtle changes that retain and improve upon the core look. vanilla faces are a bit disgusting looking and this helps alot. looks great with enhanced eyes and hair mods

    Could you make a version for henry where everything is default but he has a more prominent stubble shadow on his skin?

    Thank you so much for creating this mod! It's a great improvement and subtle enough that it isn't jarring when transitioning from cutscenes.
