Still works, just reinstalled the game a few days ago. You need to do this otherwise the horse equipment wont do anything:
Instructions from Deejerz88: This mod designates saddles as the wrong armor type. Maybe it didn't in a previous update, but it definitely does now. After buying a saddle and it not updating my horses capacity, I did a little digging and found the problem. For anyone that wants to fix it, follow these steps:
1. Go into your \Mods folder and open the .pak archive file for this mod using an archive tool (7-zip). 2. Navigate to: Libs\Tables\item 3. Open the armor.xml file (right click and choose "edit"). 4. Control + H to bring up "find and replace" 5. Type: (Horse Saddle) --> <row armor_subtype_id="" armor_type_id="4" into the Find What box 6. Type: (Horse Saddle) --> <row armor_subtype_id="" armor_type_id="10" into the Replace With box 7. Hit Replace All 8. You will need to repeat this step for Spurs, Horse Shoe, Horse Bridle, changing the id to 8, 11, & 12 respectively. 9. Save the file and exit Notepad 10. It will ask if you want to update the Archive, choose yes
I found that the "skill tree" module independent of the "overhaul" module is different from the "skill tree" module in the "overhaul". Independent, it seems to remove the restriction of proprietary skills, more or less enhance the effect of some original skills, and add new skills. The skill tree in "overhaul" is to retain the original skills (almost unchanged) and add new skills. Personally, I prefer the one in the "overhaul". I hope the author can update it in the independent "skill tree" module. While retaining the basic skills, add
I have a question regarding trainer's price. Sadly, the currently settings breaks the game as there is no level requirement to be trained to any level. That means, even if you are level 0 at any skill and pays for the mastery training, you can become level 16 just like that. This kinda breaks the whole immersion, not to mention that we can easily get the money back by taking down the NPCs. How can we restore the trainers settings to Vanilla?
Edit: I went to Vanilla's data > script.pak, copied the content and pasted to the mod's trainers.ua file and tweaked the prices to the same of the mod (so we can access training, pay exhorbitant prices for it and get only max 1 level)
So, is this still being updated? Im still on my first playthrough (yes, in 2021 XD), but after that something like this mod looks pretty interesting, but I dont wanna risk screwing up my entire game >:
can we remove this mist/fog we get in the world graphics and change it to original form? i prefer the original graphics tbh this mist makes stuff look washed out at a distance
i have a problem with this mod. The perk system is faulted somewhere im not entirely sure whats causing it to mess up but i can level even the skill lines from the vanilla game and i dont get any perk points to spend. there is also no new perks from the mod itself and im not sure if its conflicting with another mod i have i can provide a image through discord if asked
