About this mod

This mod adds new hidden perks and other skill/stat related perks in to the game, as well as reworking and fixing some vanilla perks. This mod was originally just integrated to my other mod Realism Reworked https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/332. I just released it as a separate mod so that it can be compatible for other mods.

What this mod is about

This is a perk overhaul mod. This mod adds new perks, including new Hidden Perks, and reworks/fixes some vanilla perks. This also enables the shield skill and its corresponding combos (skill may not work properly, since they were originally disabled by the devs). This mod was originally just integrated to my other mod Realism Reworked . I just released it as a separate mod so that it can be compatible for use with other mods. As such this mod was designed perfectly with the Realism Reworked mod. Some of the perks here were based on or reworked from the other mods credited below. However, there are some perk changes that I have not migrated to this mod because it required modifying some files that would make this mod incompatible to a lot of mods, such as the Loose Tongue perk.

I'm creating this as a separate mod, so that I can manage it better. I will be updating this mod from time to time as I find more perks needing more rebalancing, reworking, or as I create more perks to add into the game. So please stay tuned to this mod.

Major Features
New Hidden Perks
4 NEW HIDDEN PERKS - For 4 Different types of gameplay
    MELEE COMBAT RELATED PERK
Want to be a legendary fighter?
Why scare only Cumans when you can scare all your enemies? Bathe in the blood of your enemies now!

    ECONOMY RELATED PERK
Want to be a master tradesman?
You'll be drowning in groschen using a new hidden perk here!

    REPUTATION RELATED PERK
Like to talk your way into most situations?
We'll match that with perfect hidden perk for your smooth talking playthrough!

    RANGED COMBAT RELATED PERK
Do you have an eagle eye?
Let's match that with the best hidden perk you'll need to rain more arrows on your enemies!

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR HIDDEN PERKS:
THIS ONLY WORKS PERFECTLY WITH NEW GAMES, HOWEVER
There are possible workarounds to this using the cheat mod.In order for this to work with older save games, you need to use the cheat mod by spraguep (link below in the credits).
Once you've loaded your save game go to the console by pressing tilde(~) and enter the following commands one at a time.
Workaround 1:
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.IsQuestCompleted('q_perks')))
That command will return a boolean value - if it says false proceed to these next commands
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.ResetQuest('q_perks')))
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.ActivateQuest('q_perks')))
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.StartQuest('q_perks')))
That should effectively restart the 'q_perks' quest and enable my added hidden perks

Workaround 2:
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.IsQuestCompleted('q_perks')))
That command will return a boolean value - if it says false proceed to these next commands
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.StartObjective('q_perks','perk_manSlayer')))
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.StartObjective('q_perks','perk_armsDealer')))
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.StartObjective('q_perks','perk_politician')))
cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.StartObjective('q_perks','perk_whiteDeath')))

This should effectively start only the new objectives for my new hidden perks.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All of this will only work if you still have the 'q_perks' quest and is not yet completed, I don't know what will happen if you reset the quest once you've already finished it. You can check if the quest is started by using cheat_eval cheat:logInfo(tostring(QuestSystem.IsQuestStarted('q_perks')))
The safest workaround to use is the 2nd one.
Since it would only start my hidden perk objectives.
You only need to do this workaround ONCE and save your game for it to take effect throughout your game.

Reworked/Rebalanced perks:
Stronghold Perk
Blocking an opponent's blows will cost you 25% less Stamina. (used to be 30%)

Golem perk
Now only constantly applies to you when wearing plate armor (Old golem perk only actually applies during dialog checks).
This also makes better sense, because plate armored enemies are quite intimidating as an enemy. Also reduced the effects of the perk by 10%,

Cuman Killer perk
You've killed so many Cumans your reputation precedes you. Your enemies fear you; they are 15% more likely to flee from combat. Your attacks against them will also be 15% more effective. (used to be 50% run away, 2x more effective attacks)

Revenant perk

recover 1hp/120secs (used to be 1hp/8secs)

Scout perks
Fixed wrong calculation for its progression, which actually increased evasion more than what the descriptions say.

Infamous Perk

Fixed jail recovery value, the vanilla contains a wrong jail recovery value which actually lengthens your jail recovery time.

Weapon-Cruncher Perk
If you beat your opponent in a clinch, you'll damage his weapon 10% more. A damaged weapon will cause much less damage, as well as its price being greatly reduced. (used to be 15%)

Clinch Master (Grappler)
Is split into progressing perks and placed under the unarmed skill.
Amateur Grappler - You gain a 10% greater chance to overpower your opponent in a clinch.
Adept Grappler - You gain a 20% greater chance to overpower your opponent in a clinch.
Master Grappler - You gain a 30% greater chance to overpower your opponent in a clinch.

Weapon-Cruncher Perk
If you beat your opponent in a clinch, you'll damage his weapon 10% more. A damaged weapon will cause much less damage, as well as its price being greatly reduced. (used to be 15%)

Headcracker
Is split into progressing perks.
Headcracker I - You gain a 10% greater chance of knocking out an opponent with a blow to the head.
Headcracker II - You gain a 18% greater chance of knocking out an opponent with a blow to the head.
Headcracker III - You gain a 25% greater chance of knocking out an opponent with a blow to the head.

Heavy Swing perk
Your attacks cause 20% greater damage, but cost you 20% more Stamina and you attack slower by 10%. Applies only to force weapons.
(used to be 20% greater damage, 10% more stamina - but the vanilla implementation was actually wrong and didn't reflect the description)
This is more balanced because blunt weapons in game are already OP and giving them a damage boost should be compensated by more stamina costs and slower attack speed since these weapons are actually heavy to wield (Note Robard carrying his mace two handed during the scene with Sigismund's hordes above talmberg)

Fast Striker Perk
Your attacks will demand 20% less stamina and will be 10% faster, but will also cause 15% less injury. Applies only to weapons that are based on agility.
(used to be 30% less stamina, and 20% less injury - but the vanilla implementation was actually wrong and didn't reflect the description)
This makes better sense because a weapon's damage shouldn't be decreased too much, the sword is still sharp and can damage even without applying much force, and the perk should increase your attack speed as is from its name.

Contemplative Perk
As long as you remain still, your tiredness and hunger level will slow down by 30%.
(used to be that you don't become tired or hungry as long as you don't move)

New non-hidden perks:
Unarmed skills
Hard Hitter

You deal 5% more damage in combat.

Apex Performance
You can sprint and run 5% faster.

Gladiator
You regenerate your stamina 10% quicker.

Street Brawler
You can easily overcome pain, strikes will wound you 5% less.

Speech skills
Minstrel
You gain +2 Charisma when talking to nobles and wealthy people.

Gallant
You gain +2 Badassness when talking to nobles and wealthy people.

Dutertian
You gain +2 Charisma when talking to commoners.

You gain +2 Badassness when talking to commoners.
