Looks like it works... but not entirely. It still took off black bars with subtitles on them in cutscenes, but now I can see a liitle part of subtitles... somewhy.

For anyone who wants this mod to work. you have to create a folder called mods and put the extracted folder in there so it should look like this:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\mods\CutscenesUltrawideFix

Hope this helps. and the Cutscenes are 16:9 with black bars and i haven´t found a solution to stretch it to 21:9 to hide the bars

Doesn't work. Still have 0 black bars during cinematics/intro. Would love to have them instead of stretched video. Any ideas?

Does the game only have a problem with aspect ratios wider than 21:9?

So, this unfortunately isn't scaling right. It's doing full black bars all around - I am wondering if you have any suggestions on how to adapt your change for 7680x2160?

I wish I had black bars but visible cinematics with subtitles. How did you install it?

doesnt work for me either. Still can't see subtitles in the intro and starting game shows video stretched to the maximum. Can't see what's going on. In first ingame cinematic (after bringing everything to the father) can't see what's going on as well. :(

Should I do anything special to make it work?

Should I just click enable in vortex? Drag the file in mods folder?

Tried both and still doesn't work (5120 x 1440 here)

Doesn't work on 5120x1440 32:9 displays. Now it is 21:9 image squished to 16:9. Looks weird.

omg dude I'm so glad you did the fix. right on time for me to finish the first game before diving into the second one.

edit: unfortunately it doesn't do anything for me :( I'm on the same res as you. edit2: Nevermind, it does in fact work! I mistook inengine scene as a cutscene. Thanks for this!
