The Yew Longbow is the best bow in the game. It has the most damage. Yet, it looks like every other bow in the game. There are no uniquely named bows in KCD (that I know of), so it's not like you're getting a special bow any time soon. This mod will make the Yew Longbow cool AF. Plate armor makes you stand out; time for the best bow in the game to do the same.

PS: If you think this isn't realistic and that bothers you... 
Look man... Henry here is level 18, has the best gear in the game, over 20k Groschen... he paid a painter to paint his bow, okay? That's all it is... paint ;)

PPS: Henry forgot to wash his armor before posing for pictures... I mean paintings. He apologizes.

INSTALLATION - THIS STILL WORKS WITH 1.3+ 
(I'm not going to upload a bunch of new files just because of a new folder format - will only do so when I actually update the mod soon)
 
1) Go to your DATA folder
IE: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Data

2) EXTRACT THE FILE WITH THE COLOR YOUR WANT zzz_YewLongbowCOLOR.pak HERE

3) NAVIGATE TO KCD’S _FASTLOAD FOLDER
IE: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Data\_fastload

4) EXTRACT THE SAME FILE zzz_YewLongbowCOLOR.pak HERE

5) Play the game.
 
UNINSTALATION

1) DELETE zzz_YewLongbowCOLOR.pak from your data folder and your _fastload folder

BUGS

None. The armor clipping in the screenshots comes to you courtesy of Warhorse Studios ;)

PS: I'm not 100% sure the texture I edited is used EXCLUSIVELY by the Yew Longbow. I tested many bows, but I cannot test them all. Even if you find a bow out there with the new textures that isn't the Yew Longbow, there's nothing I'll be able to do to fix it, because the game shares textures with other items. Hopefully not this time.

Update: It has been reported that Hans Capon's bow (that you may one day possess) also gets retextured. Good for him! Now he has one more reason to make fun of you, you lowly peasant.
