Just in Case people don't know how to install, the way on the front Page is no longer supported.
Go to your Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods (if there is no Mods Folder, simple create one) Then create a Folder with the Name of this Mod "zzz_ColoredArrowFeathersBarredRed" (up to the one you downloaded) Inside this one your create a Data Folder and there you place the Mod .pak file inside.
Works in 1.9.6. As stated above follow the sticky post and extract the mod, then create a data folder and move the .pak file into that and it should work. Folder structure for install should be:
Worked fine for me. I actually figured out how to make it work myself by looking at how other mods do it. Pretty simple really. I wish the author would update it so less savvy people could enjoy this mod as well. I probably should have read the posts here first... Looks like I did exactly as Darnexx said. Though I gave the folder a custom name, not that it matters. I don't see why it wouldn't work for others. I have the Epic Games version if that makes a difference, though I doubt it does.
Darnexx explains it just fine, but this is the file location/folder structure in case someone got it wrong: KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\Colored_Arrow_Feathers_Red\Data\zzz_ColoredArrowFeathersRed.pak
Managed to brute force this to work, though undoing it will be a larger pain. Open up "zzz_ColoredArrowFeathers.pak" as well as going into (KCD)/Data/ and open up "Objects.pak". Copy the "Objects" folder in "zzz_ColoredArrowFeathers.pak" over to the one in "Objects.pak" and replace the other files. Your arrows are now forever colored until you delete "Objects.pak" and verify integrity, or be smart and back up "Objects.pak" like I didn't do.
Great mod. I do archery IRL, and even when I'm just shooting at an immobile target I use brightly colored fletching (think neon yellow/pink) so that I can see where my arrows hit from a long distance.

Works for the latest Version 1.7.0.0
Sooo tired of loosing all my arrows.
Mods/ColoredArrowFeathers/data/zzz_ColoredArrowFeathers.pak
It does not require a mod.manifest file to work.
Anyway, thx for this mod.
