tl;dr:
Adds a fishing rod to Henry upon load, use it near fish to catch fish, go home and get drunk.
Optional Files:
Latest upload under optional files increases the fishing search radius by four times. Use this if you feel like you're standing "close enough" to the pools of fish but yet get the "get closer to fish" message.
Game Compatibility:
The mod has only been tested with 1.9.6 and all DLC installed (but you most likely won't need them).
Usage on older versions is not supported.
New game is NOT required.
This mod will not conflict with anything as far as I know, as it only adds new items.
Usage:
Use the rod while near schools of fish / fishing spots in order to catch some fish!
In order to "balance" this mod, you can not fish more than once per spot/school, they'll reset after 10-ish in-game days. Probably.
You'll catch between 1 and 5 fish per attempt.
You won't be able to fish if you already have more than 10 fish in your inventory, either drop/sell/stash some or cook them.
Use the interactive map in order to find fishing spots.
Installation:
Use the Vortex Mod manager for painless, pain-free, easy and automated installation
If you for some reason want to manually install the mod, download the file from the "file" page.
Known issues:
The sounds might play even when you're not close enough to a fishing spot.
If you somehow manage to misplace your fishing rod (it's marked as a quest item) you can use the console command "add_fishing_rod" to make yourself a new one.
Plans for the future:
Find out if it works with fish traps as well (I haven't tested it yet ok it might already work who knows)
Make catch chance use your hunting skill instead
Have successful catches add a tiny tiny amount of hunting experience
Make it into an actual minigame (HAH YEAH RIGHT)

- Double click the zip archive and pull the folder(or simply extract it) into your KingdomComeDeliverance/Mods folder.
The path to this folder may varies from version to version (GOG, Steam, Epic) and your preferred install location for games. - Add the folder name to your "mod_order.txt" if you use it. Placement does not matter as the mod do not overwrite or modify anything.
