Paper UI transforms the user interface to appear as a journal or book. I have covered all the necessary graphic files to get this into working order.
I also tweaked Libs/GameAudio/ui.xml so the sounds heard in in your inventory will make appropriate paper sounds.
I am not a graphics designer, so I consider this a proof of concept resource for anyone to take-up and improve upon. The most glaring problem is how the time dial displays on the inventory and player screens. Someone of skill could devise something to work with the paper to come up with a better solution. Additionally, most aspects of the UI are tied to GFX files that I have no clue how to edit. Most of the files in my mod are empty transparent files to remove features that I'd imagine could be removed altogether from within the GFX files, as well as editing font colors to better work with the paper texture. So this mod is available for anyone to customize and release without permission. Credit would be nice though.
