This mod is based off of nothing but a personal twiddling with the UI so that I was comfortable playing the game without clunky menus, borders, and splashes that served no purpose but BE IN THE WAY. I've spent way too much time on this than I'm proud to admit, and It wasn't until I got comfortable with playing the game with it did I think to upload this.

It keeps the color palette of the vanilla game while introducing transparency to windows, so keeping them open is ACTUALLY plausible. What put me off was that the menus, tabs, and foregrounds just clashed so oddly with the game that this is my attempt at cleaning it up and taking out parts that aren't needed. I dissected the menu into an absolute SHIT ton of sub folders, turned down transparencies, and added a subtle "wire" to the edges of windows to keep it clean.

INSTALLATION:
  • Download the ZIP file.
  • Extract and place the "Minimal UI" folder into Kenshi/Mods directory
  • Your new Minimal UI now should be available in the Kenshi startup launcher :)

**This is meant to be played with 17 or lower font size, higher font sizes break the UI Engine**

Thanks to Eldryn's "Dark UI" Mod
I used his PNG file because it had a large portion of the original image's mess cleaned up. A lot of his original icons/windows are still used. I did not ask permission for editing his assets, but will gladly attempt if there is a problem.

If there are any issues, problems, glitches, please comment. I will change and edit this if anyone gives suggestions.
Keep in mind that I've just released this and I'll be tweaking things without messing with text colors.
If anyone wants to make their own edits, feel free to, I wouldn't even mind sharing the .PSD file.
