Question, can this mod be removed after importing a save and verifying that characters are no longer missing, or does this need to remain in your mod load order?
Recently I have restarted a project working on compiling bugfixes for various issues in Kenshi. Can I add your mod to that compilation? All credit would go towards you as the one who fixed this issue.
Please clarify, I read and understand the bug on import and how to install your 'fix', but should this mod be installed before doing any import or does it fix 'loading bug' only afterwards by installing it then? Hope you see what I mean, IOW does it also act to prevent the bug? Thanks for modding!
Even if you previously imported, this should still fix it. By having this mod active before import, you'll cause anything that may have disappeared to reappear again. This mod is the cure and vaccine to the bug, at least for vanilla content. :)
Would this work for a game that is already affected by this bug? In my current save I have imported before to make some mods work. So my save game is certainly affected. So if I put this mod on and do an import will those things come back or will this only work when importing a game where the import has not occurred yet? Basically really want to avoid starting a new game to fix those issues.
Tbh, it's hard to notice. I only came across it by accident when starting a game in Heft. As soon as I did an import, the bakery just suddenly disappeared and turned into a purchasable house, lol.
If you have any mods that you think might conflict with this, load them after. Putting it towards the top seems reasonable. Worst thing that can happen in the event of an override is that the bug returns.
