is it possible to supplement the mod with the purchase of production buildings, by the type of an auto-drill or a hydrofarm separately? and not the building in which it is located. since when buying a building, everything disappears

I might be incredibly stupid, but installing it changes absolutely nothing. Trying to buy empty buildings in Okran's shield or one of Holy military bases.
Setting "sell home" in fcs manually changes nothing as well. What am i doing wrong?

Edit: not using any other mods, tried import with everything on and off.

Edit2: haha nevermind it just does not allow to buy stuff in military installations. Any way to change that tho?

I believe only being able to purchase buildings within towns is hardcoded.  I'm not sure what it would entail (if possible) to go through and change military installations into towns short of just removing it and putting a new town in its place.

After more testing have concluded Buy Any Building is currently incompatible with Kenshi Genesis. Had two separate (test) campaigns where Catun was locked and empty of all people. Despite imports, which made no change. All city buildings had tag 'no faction'.

Deleted BAB, imported saves from both campaigns, and *Whammo!* "Catun discovered", and town is populated and back to normal.

    Please update BAB!

Thank you for the interest in the mod and for testing it out to see where the conflict was.

You can try to make this work with Genesis by just replicating what I did to create it.  From the description "This was done by setting "sell home" to true on all of the vanilla squads. You could probably do this for modded squads as well but please don't bug the mod makers if you break something in their mod due to this because I would prefer not to have any more people with pitchforks and torches showing up at my door."

You could try opening up Genesis in the FCS and then making this change so that it will affect all of the newly created squads as well.  Take a look at the screenshot of the FCS in the images for what it should look like.

Superb mod concept; But can't get it to work. Have about a dozen other functional mods, like Genesis. Just added Buy Any Building to list with intention of transforming The Hub into an urban paradise. Or at least developing it more after seeing all those wrecked buildings that can't be bought.

Used Vortex for install. Mod file contains 4 files.
Manually added "Buy Any Building" to _mods.list
Manually added "Buy Any Building.mod" to last (lowest) entry in mods.cfg

Tried it on a save; but no additional buildings for sale in UC area--either occupied or ruined.

Just Imported last save (in The Hub)
But no additional buildings available for sale.

What am I doing wrong? Does it need a new game to work? Is it a conflict with Kenshi Genesis--which changes towns somewhat--but which is (much) higher in load order? Does mod still work on latest version of game?
    ........

Am thinking it's a conflict with the big Genesis mod, which edits a lot of towns/buildings.
    ........
Yes, it's Genesis mod, which closely edits building availabilty in big NH, UC, and quite a few other towns. Buy option is fuller--but not total--in some of the same HN towns; but in lots of other--even Genesis-added (!) towns, outposts, and villages.

Anyone know of a way to keep all the furniture inside a building when you buy it??

That's unfortunately hardcoded into the game as far as I know.

Awesome mod! Works very well with some of interior crafting mods, I can finally feel like I'm somebody in a town, running multiple estates & businesses!
