IMPORTANT: You must start a new game or import in order to see the full effect of this mod in-game!

NOTE: I have run into a repeated pathfinding issue with one of the buildings created for this mod that I can’t seem to fix into the mod itself. If you can’t enter a building, rebuild the navmesh with Ctrl+Shift+F11 and it’ll fix it on the fly.

WHAT IS THIS MOD?

“If you don't deal with your demons, they will deal with you, and it's gonna hurt.”

This mod adds a new skeleton sub-race to Kenshi- this time an addition to ‘round out’ the ‘slim’ choices we got in the vanilla game. Enter the Hazards Unit, a skeleton variant designed to survive in the toxic industrial waste piling up in the Old World. These mighty machines were equipped with nigh-impenetrable spherical shells, and were exceptionally durable and strong in their own right.

Some of these bygone titans have survived to the modern day, and they are easily among the strongest warriors out in the wilderness. Legends say they can't be killed. Of course, these shell-heads don’t always see eye-to-eye with their squishy neighbors. There are ancient sins to be atoned for…

WHAT DOES THIS MOD ADD?

-Rather than simply throwing a new race into the game, I’ve gone and added a new enemy faction to raise hell in your game. They’re very tough.

-There is a unique recruit named 8-Ball. I don’t need to explain that one, do I? You can find him across the United Cities, but he’s a guaranteed spawn in Brink. I think you’ll find he’s a ball to have around.

-Hazards Units are sprinkled throughout the world to complement the vanilla skeleton types. Their spherical armor can also be found for sale around civilized parts. Other races can wear it. It looks funny.

-There is a new weapon added in as well: the Long Spiked Mace. It’s a long spiked mace. Whack.

-And there are a few surprises thrown in for good measure.

IS THIS MOD LORE-FRIENDLY?

-Strictly speaking, no. There is no mention of Hazards Units in dialog. However, I believe I made this mod in the spirit of the lore. Thought and care were put into fleshing out the new faction and characters and placing them into the world of Kenshi.
