About this mod

In the vanilla game you can have 30 recruits. but only 20 in 1 squad.

This mod increases the vanilla squad limit from 20 to 30. whilst retaining the vanilla total recruit limit of 30.

The sole purpose of this mod: having 1 squad of 30, instead of 2 squads of 20 and 10.

This alleviates several problems when roamin

During my first run of Kenshi, I noticed something kinda dumb. You can have 30 recruits - but only 20 of those can be in 1 squad.

This creates several problems during gameplay.

"what does this mod actually do?"
All this mod does is it increases the Squad limit to 30 - up from the vanilla 20.
you are still going to be limited to 30 recruits total just like vanilla.
All this does is removes some frustration.

"what is frustrating with vanilla, why install this?"

A)  when roaming, the second squad of 10 would consistently be out of view, often with unconscious, injured or hungry recruits. injuries aren't a problem with a medic, but food and pathing is. (a 2nd squad would generally always be full of weaker, newer recruits since....well...they died a lot). if one unit fell behind due to pathing, or was starving to death this would be harder to see initially and react to, and potentially hinder the rest of the group.

B) any squad will only take food from the rest of the Squads equipped backpacks (if any exist), your squads do not share food. Where a food barrel will suffice in a base - nobody wants to be placing food barrels in the wild. The easiest solution to both issues is simply having one singular squad, and one singular food mule in that singular squad.

"Why does this not also increase recruit limit? 30 seems low. other mods increase it to 256!"

I wanted this mod to be as close to vanilla as possible.
having 256 recruits can be insanely OP. - an elite squad of 30 is good enough to beat the game. all this mod does is removes a frustrating restriction and annoyance
