Inspired by the works of FoxyAndris, Voxoid, Mojojojo, and Tsukimare.

Credits to them.

Nights are darker, so gallivanting late at night is a lot harder without a light source.
Lanterns are essential on the road...you never know whats lurking in the darkness.

There was a rustling in the darkness, very feint...but he was sure of it.
The campfire was already dying down and the light from it waning.
It was a dangerous place to stop and camp but it was more dangerous continuing on in the dark of the swamps.

He nudged at his companion snoozing beside him, "I'm sure I heard something, you reckon it'd be a Gurgler?"
"Hmmmmph?" replied his mate sleepily.

He went to put something flammable into the dying campfire and as the flames leapt to life once again he saw the many shapes of dark-clad figures that had surrounded them.

"Oh feck...ninjas..." It was at this point he wondered whether playing dead would work.

Light radius and intensity have been tweaked similar to the mods created by the above creators. Minor changes to suite my pallet and my ReShade Preset which was inspired by the Tsuki Preset.

My ReShade Preset was created by mid/maxing settings to see what they did then tweaked to compliment the darker nights. I have done a recolour/reshade of the graphical environment to achieve a more vibrant yet not overwhelming colour.

If you remember SweetFx (which I did a reshade for Shogun 2 back in the days), ReShade is the newest iteration with an ingame gui.

You can get the latest ReShade by Crosire at: https://reshade.me/
Follow the instructions how to install (very easy steps).

Then, just drop the YOBI**.ini preset in the main directory where Kenshi is installed. Make sure to enable it from the ReShade settings and tick the Performance Mode box at the bottom.

It is highly recommended to turn off in-game FXAA.

NB: To toggle ReShade on and off press Print Screen. You can change the toggle assignment within the settings of ReShade by pressing the "Home" ("Pos1") button.

Please do download the Tsuki Preset too, it's very easy to change presets from the drop down menu.

CHANGE LOG:

v1.0
- Initial release
v1.1
- Lessened brightness of light sources so they are no longer glaringly bright.
- YOBI preset v1.2Lite; redone preset so nights aren't so pitch black, but a light source is highly recommended in many areas.
