This mod enhances the images to have more colour and make the world appear sharper.
UPDATE: I call this a work in progress. Rather than replacing all textures at once, I'll do some but leave others. For example an armour pack, then some furniture, rocks, weapons and so on.
Now that I learned about shaders and how they can be implemented into the game, you can enhance colours without touching the texture. And you can fine tune it to your personal taste by changing some numbers.
I'll then focus on details in the texture and effects like specular or parallax, scale a few that were left from the original game in 2013 to streamline the quality.
Features:
- little to no additional performance hit
- more colours and contrast
- sharper images
- streamlined texture quality over versions of the game
- days/nights slightly darker
- safe to use and easy to add/remove from the game like other mods
- compressed and scaled down version available (smaller than the original game)
Install:
Extract the file and put the folder into your mods directory:
...\Kenshi\mods\
Enable the mod in the launcher.
