About this mod
Are you too lazy to leave your base in search of meat for your animals? Tired of not finding a herd of animals to slaughter because you are in an area where they are rare?
The meat farm is your solution! Now you can have that base in the middle of the Fog Islands without having to worry about being eaten when you go out to get meat!

- The mod adds 1 research to the game: Meat Farming: Unlocked in Tier 1 after discovering Wheatstraw Farming
- 3 Meat Farms (S, M, and L)
Basically what I did was to make a copy of the Cactus Farms and modify it a little bit, so it can grow anywhere and faster, and then add a research to unlock the new Meat Farms. I also changed the cactus model for the Raw Meat model (so it really does look like you're growing Raw Meat), but for some reason it looks like it has some error in the model, so the meat looks a little gray on the ground.
- Research:
- It's in the "Farming" category of the research menu.
- Requires Wheatstraw Farming research to be able to research it.
- It's a Tier 1 Research.
- It costs 2 books and 2 Raw Meat (I know what you are thinking, "why do I have to use meat to research it when I desperately need meat?", well... you are going to be able to grow meat from the ground, you can work a little for it XD).
- Time needed is 3 in-game hours max.
- Buildings:
- Cost: 1 Building Material. (Yes, an easy start for people worrying about the "2 Raw Meat" requirement of the research).
- Produces: 20 Raw Meat every 12 in-game hours.
- Consumes: 2 Water per day.
Meat Farm M:
- Cost: 20 Raw Meat.
- Produces: 42 Raw Meat every 12 in-game hours.
- Consumes: 2 Water per day.
Meat Farm L:
- Cost: 40 Raw Meat.
- Produces: 56 Raw Meat every 12 in-game hours.
- Consumes: 2 Water per day.
- Extract the folder inside the compressed file and paste it into the mods folder in the kenshi installation directory.
- I don't think it is necessary to import the save, in my case it was not necessary.
