Overall Idea with the mod:
My main goal for the mod is to expand upon the Kenshi world - But without straying to far from the vanilla "world". This means: I have and will add new minor/small and medium sized factions. But I will NOT add any new MAJOR factions. I will also try and expand upon some of the smaller/minor vanilla factions. For instance i have made a city for the skeletons, i will also at some point for example, make it so that the skeletons could actually take over some of the Holy Nation's cities. Or perhaps make the free traders take over cities. Maybe even the ability to have a minor/small faction (like smugglers/shinobi'es etc.) turn into a major faction.
And yes I will also expand a bit more upon HN, Shek and Hive cities.
I aim to make the mod as dynamic as possible meaning i love "replayability" and so i will try make a lot of dialogue's that are unique and some that only have a "chance" of being triggered etc. I also have the idea that you as a player aren't gonna be able to have all the research that are available at tech level 8 (there will of course be some that u can always get in every play through) - By this i mean that you will sometimes have option as to whether u want one kind of research or another, and one excludes the other.
- In other words i want to make so many things/dialogue etc. that even on your 10th play through you stumble upon something and be like "Oh I did not know that" or "I've never seen that before".
I will also expand on the lore in the future, but this will come when most other things are done (see road map). I already have quite a few lore "ideas" written down regarding, for example: Stobe's followers, Horus, Tonskinn, the skeleton King etc.
I also aim to add a lot more quest/jobs to the game and give it a bit more RPG feel than it already has.
I plan on doing city overrides, world state triggers, unique characters death triggers, campaigns and so forth but its gonna be some time before that, *read road map. (like reactive world, Ashlands mods etc.)
I have lot of stuff written down and ideas but this is like an overall general idea that I really wanna do.
Road Map:
1. Fix bugs/problems etc.
2. Tweaks, balances and reworks.
3. Make new factions, cities, buildings, research, items, features etc.
4. Make dialogue, quests and lore.
5. Make world state triggers, city override, assualts/raids, campaigns etc.
This means i will most likely not add dialogue/lore etc (except sometimes if its really needed) before im "done" with 1-3.
First when im done with all else im gonna work on number 5. This is because if I start doing world state triggers etc. and i afterwards add a lot of new NPC's/towns etc. there might be a lot of world state triggers etc. that i need to rework/redo differently. So it would just be more work.
