About this mod
This gun modifies the airstrike gun. Instead of calling in an airstrike, it now spawns a cargoplane several hundred meters above the target point.
The gun has unlimited ammo and range. All spawned cargoplanes fly with the rebel drop AI, which means that they fly roughly in the direction you point the laser and dodge major obstacles like mount

Rico always wanted to have his own airline. After being tired of flying his own planes he decided to bomb liberate the Di Ravello International Airlines HQ for fun and started his own airline. Now he can summon planes whenever he wants, and they are also have a permanent invisible bavarium shield making them invincible.
For this mod you have to use the airstrike weapon (rebel drop - special - FOW). Just aim at a surface and the plane will spawn several hundred meters above the point. The weapon has unlimited range and ammo. I was not able to completely disable the airstrike yet, but the only thing left of it is a flare that the planes sometimes leave behind. This is not a projectile though and it can't explode or move either. The planes fly on the AI of the rebeldrop plane which means it only flies forwards and it dodges obstacles.
Versions
While making this mod I made a mistake, and suddenly I ended up with a weapon that made random boats fall out of the sky... I decided to include this version in the files because it is actually quite fun, but keep in mind that it is unstable and it still drops missiles out of the air sometimes...
You can find this version in the files. You can also choose between versions with normal planes or invulnerable planes.
I highly recommend this mod in combination with a grapple mod or the bavarium wingsuit to easily reach the planes.
Installation
A text file with these instructions is also included in the downloads
1. Set launch options. Go to steam -> Library -> right click on Just Cause 3 or Just Cause 3 Multiplayer mod (depending on which one you want to use it for).
Click "Set launch options" and paste the following line there, including the spaces and dot at the end.
--vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-fs .
Close the window.
2. Open the downloaded file, choose the right version and find the folder called "dropzone". Copy this folder. Now go to your Just Cause 3 game directory:
Go to steam -> Library -> right click on Just Cause 3 -> Local files -> Browse local files
This opens the JC3 directory. Paste the dropzone folder here. If a window pops up asking you to overwrite files, then select yes on everything.
Keep in mind that this means that it might disable incompatible mods that are already in the dropzone folder.
