About this video

This is still very limited.

Thick brushes (i.e. thick jungle, thick maple, thick taiga, etc) all exist on the same layer, so you can only have one of those per map (if you have two, both will just spawn a merge of the plants that appear in both of them).

Cacti also spawn with thick brushes, so if you want a separate Cactus brush then you'll have to deal with cacti randomly spawning around the perimeter of your thick forests. I'll provide an option download without cacti enabled as a workaround.

I doubt they ever will. It would be amazing, but they would probably have to rework the system with terrain brushes

Terrain paints exist on individual layers and share IDs with their alternate versions, so the can only replace each other. FreeBuild is in the works as my next main mod - this is more of a little mini-mod.

So this makes the vegetation brush more dense, right?

It would appear to allow for brushes from different biomes to be allowed on all maps.  For example, the Alpine maps only get the Alpine trees brush.  Now they can have the temperate, tundra and desert brushes as well.

I'm unsure if you can actually increase the density of these brushes, that's a question for Kai, but either way using his other mod you can simply manually place additional trees to fine tune the density as you see fit.
