This mod replaces all the gameplay tips that appear on the loading screens with 55 facts about Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar, InGen, genetic technology, and—of course—dinosaurs.
Some notes:
This mod only replaces gameplay tips, so all the movie quotes you know and love will still (half of the time) appear on your loading screens.
The facts in this mod are presented in a way to suggest that Jurassic Park (or at least the version of the park you have built in-game) might have successfully opened—therefore, the events that transpired during the movies are not mentioned, nor are any references to Jurassic World.
All information about the fictional people, places, and organizations of the Jurassic universe were compiled from quotes from the movies, lines cut from the scripts, passages from the novels, promotional material, and other official media. I tried to avoid any unfounded speculation or contested details.
Although they differ significantly, any statements from Crichton’s novels that are not contradicted by the movies are considered canon by this mod.
Some details regarding InGen’s pre-Jurassic Park history that were added by the Jurassic World trilogy are omitted in the interest of preserving some gray areas—for those of you purists still invested in the original canon developed by JP: Trespasser. (We exist!)
I currently have no plans to make a Jurassic World-era version of this mod and no plans to translate this mod to other languages, but welcome anyone interested in doing so.
