The Jurassic Park 'Evolved' Alternate Timeline
The 'Evolved Timeline' is a feel-good alternate reality in which the Nublar incident, as we know it, never happened. This is a timeline where John Hammond had more respect for his creations and the power involved, where he took better care of those who helped create and maintain his dream, and where he actually spared no expense.
Jurassic Park opened, stayed open, and thrived. Over the years, the park on Isla Nublar continuously grew, receiving new species from its isolated breeding facility on Isla Sorna. In conjunction with the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the park employs a large specialized staff dedicated to animal care and public safety.
In the late 90s, John Hammond passed away of natural causes. He trusted his friend, Simon Masrani, to take over control of Jurassic Park and InGen. In the early 2000s, Masrani began making significant renovations to the park. His intention was to modernize the park, but maintain the classic and established aesthetic of his late friend's dream.
After decades of success and no major incidents, the first mainland dinosaur park near a major city was approved and built. Located on the outskirts of San Diego, this park allows a much more "at home" dinosaur experience, where visitors can actually drive their cars or take a bus to see these animals for a day trip instead of a full vacation getaway.
Biosyn, still wanting in on the action, managed to unlock the secrets of dinosaur cloning on their own. They arrived late to the game, but Biosyn used their new breakthrough to bring back their own array of extinct animals. Opening a rival theme park of their own, housing a unique set of attractions with a more modern and high-tech experience for guests.
While successful in it's own right, Biosyns 'Dino Land' still trails behind Jurassic Park and San Diego in popularity. In recent years Biosyn has begun experimenting with new attractions that "will give the parents nightmares" in an attempt to gain an edge on InGen.

- Additional Lore & Build Details -
- While the park itself is a fusion of both JP and JW, ideas from JP's concept art were also used; like the bungalows overlooking a vast dinosaur filled valley.
- The builds 'arrival point' in the context of the park servers as a helicopter transport to a V.I.P tour of JP's breeding center on Isla Sorna.
- With security being a higher priority, the Nublar raptors were eliminated after several smaller incidents. They were eventually replaced with JP3's raptors. While these raptors are more intelligent, they proved to be more manageable in the park setting. Despite this the raptor paddock is still a high security and age restricted exhibit in the park.
- The park includes all of the dinosaurs from the first film (minus the raptors of course), as well as many from TLW, JP3, and the novels. A few liberties were taken to fill some niches.
- Rexy, Buck, and Doe live together as a family unit.
- The 3 sections of the jeep tour were designed to loosely resemble locations/scenes from JP and TLW.
- I renamed pretty much every building. I spared no detail.
